C’est en septembre 1989 que le Boatyard Bar & Grill a ouvert ses portes en plein cœur de Fort Lauderdale, capitale mondiale du yachting. Aujourd’hui encore, le Boatyard reste le principal restaurant de bord de mer, servant des fruits de mer du jour, préparés par des mains expertes. Il dispose de salles intérieure et extérieure ainsi que d’un bar/terrasse en bord de mer, idéal pour regarder les yachts passer. Le restaurant met un point d’honneur à offrir une expérience de grande qualité à ses clients ; il propose un service clients irréprochable, une cuisine raffinée et une atmosphère des plus agréables. Un happy hour est organisé du lundi au vendredi, de 16h00 à 19h00.

    Nice looking place some upgrade have been made since last time I was there, the menu has changed the food and drinks wasn’t up to the level that I’m used to

    Boatyard never disappoints, service and food were excellent! This is a must do when flying in or out of FLL or Port Everglades!

    Restaurant was so busy so the service wasn’t amazing but it was good The food was very good if you ordered a meal if you ordered the grilled fishes, you needed to add sauce, cause they were kind of bland I would probably return for the food I would return definitely for the barr scene and the action on a Thursday night

    Boatyard food and ambience was excellent. We have never had a bad or mediocre meal there. The reception, valet parking and overall service was good, except at table there were a number of glitches. Nothing horrible or enough to spoil the experience, just several omission that made us smile and note that need to tighten the ship. Specifically, after appetizers table was not rest. We had to ask for silverware for the main course and a busboy (not a waiter) set three set of knives and forks in the middle of the table. At this level, we should have fresh silverware in place and not stare at our main courses and wait. Water was poured once and it was warm. We got ice but repeatedly had to ask for refill of water glasses. Appetizers were messy (mussels-- are delicious BTW ) but the table was not cleaned. We ordered a rather expensive bottle of wine-- which was tasty and worth the price-- but after the initial presentation, we had to pour ourselves. It was busy-- and we tipped 20% but the service needs a bit strengthening in a restaurant of this quality and price.

    Loved it all. Hadn't been in fort Lauderdale for a few years and really wanted to return to the Boatyard since we'd always enjoyed it. So glad we did. Partner's Sea Bass was excellent and my heirloom tomato salad with shrimp was, too.

    Nice menu choices. Ordered the petit filet medium. While it was cooked to pink the meat was very tough and dry at the edges. Disappointing at that price point. Service was excellent- nice place but will not return given the other wonderful options in FLL.
