C’est en septembre 1989 que le Boatyard Bar & Grill a ouvert ses portes en plein cœur de Fort Lauderdale, capitale mondiale du yachting. Aujourd’hui encore, le Boatyard reste le principal restaurant de bord de mer, servant des fruits de mer du jour, préparés par des mains expertes. Il dispose de salles intérieure et extérieure ainsi que d’un bar/terrasse en bord de mer, idéal pour regarder les yachts passer. Le restaurant met un point d’honneur à offrir une expérience de grande qualité à ses clients ; il propose un service clients irréprochable, une cuisine raffinée et une atmosphère des plus agréables. Un happy hour est organisé du lundi au vendredi, de 16h00 à 19h00.

    Food was outstanding and the service was top notch. The only thing i would say bad but out of there control is if you eat outside beware it gets very buggy. They did give us little fly fans which did help keep them out of the food. 5/5 in my book.

    Absolutely amazing!!!! A must for Fort Lauderdale trip. Bolognese is the best I have ever had. Soup was delicious. Incredible atmosphere and service was top notch. If you skip this one you will be sorry.

    Me and my wife sat at the bar until our table was ready, roughly 45 min. Shortly after ordering drinks and appetizers we were asked to move by the bartender so that she could seat 4 people (clearly very rich, and very entitled) in the seats where we were seated. We eventually got our table, I ordered filet and lobster. The wife had surf and turf. The steaks were cooked pretty well, the lobster on the other hand was very overcooked. Was like chewing a piece of rubber. The best descriptive words would be tough, chewy and dry. I wanted onion rings with my meal sadly they didn’t not have any. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes, and they were mediocre at best, nothing special. Lastly, after we left and paid our $200 bill, we had paid for an uber to pick us up and take us back to the resort. While waiting, I got a call from the restaurant saying the waitress forgot to give me my credit card back. So I then had to cancel the Lyft ride we paid for, and ordered another one. Once I got back they could not locate my card for 15 or more minutes and the individual “manager” was anything but apologetic or helpful when it came this. I really got the vibe that if you do not drive a very expensive car or arrive in a yacht, they were going to treat you like trash. Sadly after being in FT Lauderdale for over a week, this was our only bad experience we had the entire time. Definitely left a poor taste in our mouth.

    Couldn’t eat outdoors, so not as pretty. Food and service were fine.

    The waiters seemed rushed and annoyed; as if they knew what to do but couldn’t really be bothered. All else was excellent; as always

    Lovely birthday lunch with friends. Restaurant gave a birthday card and a delicious piece of chocolate Cake for dessert.

    Beautiful restaurant. Some of the meals exceptional ie sea bass with miso. Some like grouper pretty basic. Waiter was as nice and smart as one can ever hope for.

    Everything about the evening was perfect. The manager spent time with us acknowledging a birthday. It’s about a 3 hour drive to get here for us but well worth it - finish g a spectacular weekend .
