C’est en septembre 1989 que le Boatyard Bar & Grill a ouvert ses portes en plein cœur de Fort Lauderdale, capitale mondiale du yachting. Aujourd’hui encore, le Boatyard reste le principal restaurant de bord de mer, servant des fruits de mer du jour, préparés par des mains expertes. Il dispose de salles intérieure et extérieure ainsi que d’un bar/terrasse en bord de mer, idéal pour regarder les yachts passer. Le restaurant met un point d’honneur à offrir une expérience de grande qualité à ses clients ; il propose un service clients irréprochable, une cuisine raffinée et une atmosphère des plus agréables. Un happy hour est organisé du lundi au vendredi, de 16h00 à 19h00.

    Dîner very nice ! Beautiful set up outside. Food and drink where amazing . The only think is the staff that is pushing for alcool . We had drinks before dinner at the outside bar . She come 3 times to make us fell we should order more . But , we have not finish our drink at that point . Then, we had 2 bottles of wine (4pers) . We finish dinner and finishing the wine . She ask us "should I bring another bottle ". Then , ask if wanted dessert . We said no, she left a did the bill . When she came back . We all wanted special coffees. So , we did order but felt like rush . We were enjoying my birthday. I did appreciate the birthday card place at the table when we arrived . Very nice touch !!!

    My husband and I celebrated a birthday at Boatyard and were excited when we entered the restaurant since the establishment is beautiful and recently renovated. Sadly, the evening was met with lukewarm service. The server seemed less-than-enthused to attend to us, walking away several times as we were still engaging with her. At one point, she glanced over her shoulder to hear what we said before nodding and departing. Please engage more intently with your customers, since we are the reason you have a job. She missed that we wanted one of our dishes packed to go and we had to wait while the kitchen made a new portion. We also said we were celebrating a birthday at the beginning of our meal and no notice was given to our special event. We had ceviche and tuna tartar tacos, which were lukewarm when they arrived at our table. The red snapper with pasta and seafood paella were both good for the main dishes (the only highlight apart from the environment) but should have been served hotter. Sitting near the serving station, we could see that many plates sat for several minutes before being picked up and delivered to the tables. The dessert menu was lackluster, leaving us to seek dessert elsewhere. The cheapest bottle of wine was $50. The cocktail menu was also limited, focusing on a few eccentric flavor profiles, like the caviar-stuffed olive martini. I'm glad we tried it but once was enough. We'll go somewhere else that seems to appreciate us as a customer.

    Swordfish portion was small and had no taste. Sea bass was very good. Felt our waitress was rushing us. Constantly clearing dishes! We loved going here for over 20 years but are giving this place a break.

    Excellent cocktails. The outside bar area was relaxing. The food and service were top notch. Hope was come back again.

    This was our first visit back to the Boatyard since its remodel and it did not disappoint. There was a mix up in our reservation and our table was given away but the manager, Sam, quickly took care of it and treated us extremely well. We had an excellent server who described the dishes very well and made great suggestions. Drinks were delicious. We look forward to our next dinner there.

    Came from ATL for brussel sprouts but the new recipe or way of preparing them was not as decadent!

    Server appeared overwhelmed. Water & beverage service slow. Specifically asked for horse radish with oysters served cocktail sauce. When I asked for no cocktail sauce.

    My wife’s filet was salty. Her mashed potatoes came out cold but were replaced with a hot portion. They too were salty. My ribeye was cooked correctly but was very tough and lacking flavor. The lights were randomly flickering. The restaurant was very loud. Very disappointing experience
