    Great food and service with wonderful view! We felt special. My husband’s birthday was recognized with free dessert. He was happily surprised and appreciative.

    Two guests at the the table were a little disappointed with their meals. The portion size of the blackened cod and the other guest had no oyster in two of his shells with the pasta he ordered.

    I ordered the king crab. It was cool to the touch when it arrived at our table. I had to ask for butter. It arrived without a butter warmer and was served in a metal ramekin barely warm. Needless to say, everything was cold by the time I was finished. I complained to the manager who it was now company policy to serve crustaceans without a butter warmer. Absolutely ridiculous. The market price for king crab that day was $100. To serve it cool and without a butter warmer is outrageous. To my knowledge Boathouse is the only restaurant that serves crab in our part of the city. Will have to venture farther out for my next crab craving.

    We loved it. The food was excellent as was the waiter. He cheerfully helped my wife with her dietary requirements. We will definitely come back.

    We had a great experience, we went on a day where it was not very busy so got the choice of sitting on the patio. Great view and great food! We were even offered blankets when it got a bit chilly. Great place for a date night!

    Restaurant was not taking walk in customers due to small service staff (only 2 people that we saw). We had a reservation for lunch at noon for a family birthday celebration and were very disappointed . We were offered only dinner menus and had to request the lunch menu with which we were familiar. Other tables only seemed to receive the dinner menu but there were only 5 tables occupied. Our server apologized for the delays and the two of them did their best but it would appear some poor management decisions were involved. We have always enjoyed the White Rock Boathouse and its lovely view but this day was disappointing. Not even offered a birthday treat. Will think twice about returning again.
