We opened The 3rd BluWater Bistro location in the Leschi neighborhood on March 13, 2004. Mick McHugh handed the reigns over to us after 22 successful years of running the Leschi Lake Café. With a slight remodel we cozy'd up the place, added some fantastic rollback windows, high back booths, some flat screen TV's, and leather furniture by the fireplace. The menu reflects all the goodness that a cozy bistro should offer, including the ever famous & popular "Lake Side Café" Fish and Chips... gotta keep the neighborhood happy. Stop in for some brunch on the weekends or some late night food.

Bart, Francis and their team are outstanding. Loved the chowder soup and taco salad! Super friendly and great atmosphere. Highly recommend and will go back over and over again!

BlueWater’s daily specials are an excellent value. (They make it up on cocktail prices.) Good portion sizes & high quality ingredients. Fried chicken special could have been more highly seasoned.

Food was excellent and service was terrific. Our party was half vegetarian, half not, and we were all very pleased with our entrees. There was a football playoff game being shown in the bar area, which made the entire restaurant quite noisy, though I don't imagine that is usually the case. We asked for and were given a table with a view of the water, which was lovely.

Restaurant is our go to Restaurant as it is a neighborhood restaurant. Most of the time, the food is great. However, on NY Eve, my food was terrible. I asked for the end cut, and it came as a leather sole! I know it was a busy night, but good/great restaurants make sure their food is consistently good no matter how busy they are! We should have stayed home that night!

We booked for NYE my girl friend wanted prime rib and we saw it was the NYE special. Everything was fine until our food arrived. My girlfriend’s food had a hair in it and the lady at the table trough up on the floor next to our table. We told the server and they didn’t even properly clean up the through up before seating another tables. To make it right the server took our two drinks off of the tab that we didn’t even drink because the puke kinda ruined our night. We left and ended up getting somewhere else after closing out our tab.

As usual, Bluwater Bistro provided a festive holiday dinner at an exceptional price. Lobster was great! Prime rib was a little bit over cooked.

The Christmas dinner was very good. There was a lot of food. So much so that take away containers were needed.

The food was very good, large portions. Our waitress was very friendly and tentative. There was no wait time to be seated and our waitresses came over within 5 minutes (after we were seated) to take our drink orders. The food was flavorful (except for the stuffing, but then I only love my mom’s stuffing!😉). The Carrol singers were hard to hear although that may have been because the level of the noise from the crowd was a bit loud. The servers that brought our meals were very tentative and kind. Overall we all had a wonderful experience and we will definitely comeback for the New Year’s celebration!!!

Food was super cold, you could literally tell the order in which thefood was put on the plate with the difference in temperatures. Christmas Eve, yes but service was trash, forgot our appetizers and didn’t check in on us once, got things wrong. I understand no one is perfect but if you can’t handle a Christmas service as a restaurant then don’t do one.
