Les clients n'ayant pas fait de réservation sont les bienvenus chez Blue Door Kitchen & Garden, le restaurant du célèbre chef Art Smith. Fidèle à la logique « de la ferme à la table », le restaurant est situé au cœur de la Gold Coast de Chicago, où s'est profondément enraciné le principe selon lequel un chef doit déterminer son menu au gré des saisons. Depuis sa création, la marque Blue Door est devenue synonyme de développement durable et d'approvisionnement responsable. Beautiful restaurant, high quality dishes, solid service. Braised beef was outstanding and the fried chicken was good, lightly fried. Fairly empty upstairs for a Saturday night 7pm reservation the day after Valentine’s Day.

Me & my wife visited Blue Door on her birthday, and decided to come back on the V-Day. This place is amazing: the quality of food, overall atmosphere and hospitality - it feels like every details there is made to make you feel like home. We ordered a couple of drinks (Smoked Cherry was a top notch), appetisers and mains (Lamb, salmon) - everything was cooked to perfection. Special thanks to our waitress for outstanding service (If you are reading this - you did a great job!), the cooks & to John for complimentary champagne and being so nice :) You, guys, do an amazing job. We will for sure be back! Overall: 5/5

Perfect vibes for a date night. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the salmon and Risotto will definitely be back!!

The ambience and food was great, the service can be improved as it took over 20 minutes for the waiter take our order.

Food was excellent. The heated outdoor patio was awesome for February in Chicago. Service was on the slow end, but the staff was incredibly friendly.

We had such a lovely time at Blue Door. Our party of three was able to try each of the entrées on the restaurant week menu, and every single one was delicious. (We also loved the shrimp and grits that we got for the table.) My MIL, notorious for finding something to complain about, loved everything and enjoyed the evening thoroughly.

One, the atmosphere is wonderful. Two, the service is great and the staff are professional and friendly. They make sure you always have everything you need but they aren’t bothersome. Three, the food is always delicious. All three of us ordered from the Restaurant Week Special Lunch Menu and all the food was great and met every expectation, the presentation was was lovely and because of Restaurant Week the price was a real deal. I eat there often but not often enough. It’s the perfect place to go for dinner before attending Porchlight Music Theater or any performance at The Ruth Page Theater just down the street. Also, their garden offers perfect alfresco dining. It’s one of those perfect little gems in Chicago.
