Blue Crab Grill in Newark, Delaware is known for offering a giant menu filled with seafood options. Though much of it is seasonal, you can always count on some items at Blue Crab Grill. For example, there is the steak and cake. You get a grilled beef tenderloin and jumbo lump crab cakes. Another standby at Blue Crab Grill is the surf and turf. This includes a five-ounce beef tenderloin steak and a five-ounce lobster tail that is served stuffed with crab imperial. The crazy jambalaya is very popular as well. Blue Crab is a great neighborhood place; very convenient with excellent seafood and other options. The crab imperial special was delicious! Melissa, our server, was very friendly and attentive. She was also training Michael, a new server, who will be a good addition to the staff! We will be back!

Such a great find! The food was tasty. Our server, Samantha, was wonderful and friendly, as were all the support staff. I ordered a mimosa and found out they fresh squeeze their juices. Very impressed!

We went to this rocking restaurant at peak hours on a Saturday night. We had reservations and were seated promptly (the walk up’s who were waiting gave us glares 😆sorry). Our waitress was friendly and working as hard as she could. We had some long waits but the food was so worth it and the value was great. Next time, we will go at a less busy time. We will be going back 😁

I have friends I've known since grade school & HS, and we've been going out to dinners for the last 23 years. Someone has to recommend a place to go, and it has to be a place where no one has been before. After 23 years, its getting harder to find places, but we get it done. It was actually my turn, and I actually had a few places to vote on, but The Blue Crab & Grill received the most 1st place votes. We get together to catch up on what's going on in our lives, and just have a great time that is full of laughter. I'm glad this place received the most 1st place votes because everything was great. Starting with the drinks. Unfortunately, the drinks aren't on the regular menu since they were part of the specials for the Saturday that we went...but they were so yummy. There are actually 9 of us in the group, but one was missing since she wasn't able to make it back up from NC where she lives this time...but we facetimed her so we could kid her on what she was missing :-) So starting with the appetizers one person got the crab deviled eggs, one got the crab nachos (me) that was shared with everyone since it was so big, and yummy. Two people got the barbequed bacon wrapped shrimp, two people got the shrimp & crab rolls, one got the classic french mussels, and one got the creamy crab bisque soup...all of the appy's were sooooooo good. Next came our entrees, and there were 2 orders of crab cake & ribs, 2 orders of fried shrimp & ribs, and 4 orders of the deep friend seafood platter all of the entrees came with potato wedges and cole slaw, but 3 of us swamped out the cole slaw for the sauteed spinach (and the spinach was so good) Even the bread was good. Came out warm, and the creamy butter just melted. Our server was Melissa and she took very good care of our table This restaurant was over 60 miles one way, but definitely worth the trip

We’ve been going to the BCG for 20+ years now and it just keeps getting better! Sunday brunch is always a treat with live music, such as the OG Chesapeake Bayou Bros & Sis, who truly bring the Cajun inspired experience to life! Brunch favorites include the BCG Special and the Fried Green Tomato salad with mimosas, of course! Y’all enjoy!

Everything thing was good. The only thing that I might change was the food temperature when it come to the table could have been hottier.
