Established in 2012 as Miami's premier destination for contemporary comfort, Blue Collar is the labor of love from Chef Daniel Serfer ( New Times Best chef 2015), a Miami native. Great food and service. My favorites are the big ragout sandwich and pasta and the oxtail.

Food is always great. New location is much more spacious. Service is always good. Dining room inside is a little noisy. Hard to have a conversation but fun for a group.

Unfortunately, the Blue Collar we used to frequent and love no longer exists. The new location across the street isn't much larger (except for the outdoor area with a full-size bar), but it lacks the charm of the original Blue Collar. The lunch boxes are now tucked away in window sills, the timecard machine and many of the familiar servers are gone. The menu isn't as extensive as it used to be, and several of our favorite dishes, like the mac and cheese, are no longer available. We experienced significant delays with our food due to kitchen issues, resulting in a much longer stay than necessary. Additionally, the prices have been substantially increased. The waitstaff tried to make up for it by offering us dessert, which we appreciated, but it doesn't compensate for the shortcomings of the new location, the higher prices, or the uninspiring menu choices. At this point, we're uncertain if we'll return.

They haven't missed a beat in moving over and upgrading the dining expereince - food is just as perfect as always. Service is incredibly attentive and engaging and wonderful.

The food was superb, Emma served us splendidly and with great attention, the restaurant a bit noisy (between the music, diners talking vigorously) but all of us had an amazing time!!!! I will definitely be back soon.

We've been loyal customers of Blue Collar since they opened years ago in their original tiny space. The food has always been creative--making both new variations and old standards with care. Their "Vegetable Board" cannot be missed and reflects the kitchen's commitment to fresh ingredients and unique flavor parings. The only problem was that--as word spread and the place got busy--it was nearly impossible to get in. A lose-lose for the talented chef, the friendly staff and all their hungry customers. So glad to see they have recently moved to a much larger, very pretty space just across the street, where fans have plenty of indoor and al fresco seating to chose from. So happy for them undergoing this well-earned expansion into a relaxing new space deserving of their unique cuisine (and hungry crowds).

Food was simply amazing! From the apps to dinner and then dessert, I couldn’t have asked for a better culinary experience. The noise inside was off the charts loud, but that’s ok, the food was worth it all
