Situé dans le quartier calme de l'est de Yorkville, en retrait derrière une façade en briques, le Blu est un restaurant italien qui sert une cuisine authentique, classique et contemporaine, créée par les chefs Massimo Callovini et Eric Bucher.

Les murs en pierre chaleureusement éclairés et de grands miroirs entourent de confortables sièges en cuir et des tables en bois foncé. Entrez d'abord par le bar à vin décontracté, pour par la suite découvrir une salle à manger branchée et haut de gamme qui offre une ambiance accueillante.

Les vendredi et samedi, vous pourrez déguster votre souper au son d'une apaisante musique, chant et piano ou chant et guitare. The food and service was 10/10. We did the tasting menu for $75 each and it was excellent! Lots of delicious food and very full by the end. They were so ontop of everything, changing out our plates, cutlery and filling up my water. I really appreciate this kind of service standard. The love music was such a nice touch and added to the romantic ambiance. Highly recommend for a date night- will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful experience. Service was great, the restaurant is beautiful and most importantly- the food was delicious. We had rack of lamb and steak. Both were delicious and the portions were good size. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem, an elegant restaurant that I can go to and enjoy food while still be able to have a conversation with my friends. Highly recommended. The food was beyond delicious, by far the best beef carpaccio I have ate. Lots of options on the menu, we did order many appetizers and salads in addition to the main course so we can experience different plates. Our server Michael is a super star, very passionate about food and service, he recommended many things and even changed a the pasta sauce to make it more delicious. We followed his recommendations and we were so happy and enjoyed everything at Blu Tiramisu was also beyond delicious! 5 stars and above for this place. Will be back for sure.

Blu Ristorante is easily the most reliable restaurant we have ever dined at. From the well prepared food to the attentive service, it is our first choice when we want fine dining. We do not live downtown, but we gladly travel there to dine at Blu. It is definitely our go-to for special occasions. Blu knows how to make their guests feel special. They have a new menu item of woodfire grilled Arctic Char. It was cooked a perfect medium, so moist and flakey. 😋 We have our next reservation on New Year's Eve. Can hardly wait.

Excellent experience - tasting menu (and wine pairings) was better than we expected and at the price point we found it to be a wonderful value. Food was delicious ( and plentiful) and service was lovely (Note that we went on a Tue so can not comment on whether it would be noisy on a busy night.) Wud recommend and we will be back!

The 5-course tasting menu was near perfection in every bite. I sampled a variety of types of proteins and sides and each was seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly, and plated with real creativity and style. It was very simply a fabulous meal.

We were looking for any green vegetables and the chef refused to take bunch of spinach and cook it. There are no green sides offered. We were told they had spinach but they out it in other foods and wouldn’t be able to simply make one side. Great ambiance low customer service
