Blu Kouzina is bringing its signature, wholesome Greek cooking to the Sunshine State after gracing for the past five years Singapore’s culinary scene. The acclaimed restaurant, born out of the founders’ passion for the food of their native Greece and their love of sharing a hearty, family meal with friends, has set up a second home in Sarasota.

Fresh and quality ingredients, mostly grown organically, and sourced from well established, local producers are used in dishes that are both traditional and creatively contemporary. What remains uniquely Greek and genuine are the flavors and the scents of extra virgin olive oil, fresh fish or succulent lamb that will take you on a journey from a beach-side taverna to a rural mezze shop.

This restaurant probably is one of the best I’ve ever eaten in several months ago. My sister took me there. We had these little tiny meatball appetizers. I went back to Naples Florida going probably to three or four Greek restaurants trying to find them and no one had them so last night I ordered the meatballs, their fantastic eggplant dip and also a skewered beef… It was excellent. Waited for the next table to have their Bronzino serve just see what it was like. OMG it was absolutely beautiful. Their food is nothing short of exquisite. They really need one of these restaurants in Naples Florida too. When I walked out the door I noticed several people walking by and pointing out to others that this food was delicious. Really enjoy the porch alfresco dining. The rolls and olive oil are to die for and a new extra this time was the plate of spices which was a nice touch. Both my companion and I had the grilled calamari, generous portion and cooked to perfection.

We love blue Kouzina, one of our favorite places in Sarasota. If you are into Mediterranean food especially Greek this is the place! Best Greek food in Sarasota! Fabulous service, Daniella treated us like family! They make a vegetarian Moussaka to die for!

You can always count on a delicious authentic Greek meal, as well as talented, kind, professional service. This is a must in St. Armands/Longboat Key for anyone who enjoys Mediterranean/or Greek food. Outstanding.

Wonderful and authentic Greek food. Service was excellent and ambience was delightful. Food is the star here - make sure to order the dips. The smoked eggplant dip was soooo good! A very enjoyable evening!
