    First time at this location for brunch. Manager Rick was very pleasant and checked in on us to see if we were enjoying our time there. Food and service was great. Liked this location way better than the one in Gambrills.

    This was a disappointing experience. The food here is usually very good and the special of the week has never let me down. Tonight the food was ok, not their usual superb. The server was obviously new and probably needed to either shadow someone more experienced or have an experienced shadow. First clue was she didn’t know how to pronounce the special. Bouillabaisse. And it’s a soup, so you should probably provide a spoon with it. And when you have crab claws, crab utensils should also be provided. She wasn’t sure the Blackwall steak menu item was in fact a salad. But it did have a 6 oz perfectly cooked steak on the salad, which usually comes with a steak knife. They have party rooms here, which I have been in before. But when the place is nearly empty, don’t sit people adjacent to the noise when you could sit them one room over where it was much quieter. So overall, not the great experience I have had here in the past. Mostly management problems. Train your employees.

    Great options for seafood, turf, and starters. Service was amazing... and the half off bottle-of-wine deal was a happy surprise.

    Blackwall Hitch is one of my favorite places to take guests for a special meal. Good food on a diverse menu, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

    The ambiance incredible, the roasted Brussels amazing, the service decent but the wait time for the food to come to the table was awful considering it was before noon and not crowded. Now .. we decided to go with the Blackwell Burger, nothing fancy just a staple, so how can you mess up a burger ? I’m not sure but somehow Blackwell managed to do so. The bun, toppings , cheese and even the pickle on the side was decent ; however the beef/burger itself was awful. Tasteless no season or flavor whatsoever and the meat was crumbly!!! Picked the burger up to take a bite and literally pieces of the meat fell out of the bun. Like what ? Due to being on a bit of a time crunch due to plans after lunch I chose not to send it back or make a big deal about it. Hopefully this was a one off.

    This restaurant has a fresh, clean vibe immediately on walking in the door. We were seated promptly and offered a choice of table or booth. We chose booth. It was comfortable and out of the usual traffic patterns. The menu had plenty of variety from meats to seafood and several homemade pasta dishes. We took a while before deciding on the the pastas, which were not run of the mill Italian restaurant recipes. Interesting flavors and perfectly cooked freshly made pasta made for a very good choice. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Definitely a first rate experience.

    Food is consistently great! Shelby our server was awesome and very attentive. Drinks are a good value and the chocolate mousse is exceptional. It was a wonderful Father’s Day for my husband.

    Was there on Father’s Day for the brunch. The food was tasty, but wasn’t replenished quickly. We had to wait very long for items to be replenished on the buffet. Service was average, but not exceptional. We did have an issue with being charged a credit card service charge although we paid with a debit card which their menu states there’s no service for cash or debit card payments. They also placed a mandatory 18% special day tip on the bill. Didn’t feel as if we got mandatory tip level of service. Overall it was just okay. Not sure if I will be going back again.

    The rolls were hard and had to be sent back. The fish was overcooked and dry. The server spilled water on my nephew and then seemed annoyed when we asked for a towel. When my sister said she couldn’t eat the fish, the waitress said ‘why not.’ We asked for a manager who agreed they looked overcooked & eventually made it right. He made sure my mom got something to eat and apologized for the experience. Probably won’t be back and it’s a shame because I like most of the titan group restaurants.
