    The food was great and came out hot. We were not in a hurry at all so we didn’t mind that the service was kind of slow. The Shrimp and Scallop Risotto was delicious. The seafood was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The portion size seemed small for the seafood (3 shrimp and 2 scallops) but the risotto was a huge serving (left about 1/2). My husband said the shrimp bisque was excellent and hot. I will definitely eat there again if we come back to the area.

    Food food, but pricey. My wife felt the shrimp and grits were great. I had some of the specialty oysters, which were decent, but overpriced. Not the most attentive waitstaff.

    Great food, service was lacking, canned soda at an upper scale restaurant with a full bar was very odd. All soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty.

    The food and ambulance was wonderful. Enjoyed the music but it made it a little hard to have conversations. Wished there wasn't a 90 minute limit, but I do understand.

    Everything was extremely subpar from the moment we walked in the hosts being very unwelcoming to the extremely long time it took to get service and to receive our food (I had to ask the server repeatedly how long it was going to take our appetizers and entrees to arrive. To put in to perspective we got seated at 8:30 and didn’t receive our two sandwich which was a burger and a chicken sandwich entrees till 9:45). The server never checked to see if we liked our order until she heard me mention to my fiancé that the fries were very hard and stale, I was never asked if I wanted a drink refill or if there was a way to correct the fries or substitute with something else. We are a huge fan on Blackwall barn and lodge but our experience at blackwall hitch was extremely disappointing and we will not be coming back.

    The seating area in the front of the restaurant was hot/humid. We believe it was being affected by the weather outside and front doors opening constantly. Need some fans or additional ducts up front. The place was busy, and service was very, very slow. Food was great and we enjoyed sitting at the bar after dinner and listening to the music.

    My experience here has always been extremely good. The service provided was exceptional, our servers went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We absolutely loved the food, everything was fresh and delicious. Thank you Taylor and Aiden for the great service!!!

    We went on a 100 degree temp day (yesterday) but their a/c wasn’t working. We couldn’t stand it so paid for our drinks and left. I had family from out of state and wanted to have a nice time. This was unbearable.
