Not having been her before, the restaurant was difficult to find. Parking was also a problem on Friday night. The restaurant was not crowded but the service was slow. The food was good and I can imagine the views are great during the day. I did not see my points posted for dining.

Pesto pasta was delicious! Service was not good. Outside was nice because noise was reduced.

This is a beautiful restaurant on the water, but everything we ordered was just "fine." Not bad but not outstanding. And it was all kind of bland. The service took a little while, and the whole place was really noisy. Which was impressive given the size of the restaurant. But the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation. I don't really have any complaints but there was nothing about this experience that makes me eager to go back. It was all just... okay.

Fantastic Dining Experience at Blackwall Hitch My cousins and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blackwall Hitch, in Alexandria, VA, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly blended modern sophistication with a touch of coastal charm since it’s right on the water in Old Town. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of options that cater to different tastes. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Their craft cocktails were a delightful complement to the meal, each one carefully crafted and refreshing. The service was outstanding—our server Omar was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations that elevated our dining experience. The ambiance, with its tasteful decor and comfortable seating, added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Whether you're looking for a special night out or a place to enjoy a great meal with friends or family, Blackwall Hitch is a top-notch choice. Enjoyed talking to the bartenders and staff. Everyone was friendly and resolved an issue with a salad very quickly.

The Portable AC unit was loud and too cold. The canned music was too loud to cover the noise. It was lunch on a Thursday. A very large facility with few people. The French onion soup was “warm” and the fried oyster were hanging out in the kitchen for a while. Didn’t send it back b/c we were headed out of town. Would not return.

A Memorable Dining Experience - Highly Recommend! I recently dined at this fantastic restaurant, and it was truly a 5-star experience. The service was exceptional, with our waitress Seddy* (I hope I spelled her name correctly apologies if I didn’t) being both friendly and kind, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was elegant, creating the perfect setting for a special evening out. As for the food, it was outstanding. I ordered the lamb, and it was incredibly fresh, packed with flavor, and served in generous portions. Every bite was a delight! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.
