We really enjoyed the variety of Greek foods, outstanding service, and tour of the Wine Cellar. Our server, Janine, was especially welcoming and very informative about the variety of foods and wine we ordered. The Greek wine selection was great. We had an old vine and new vine. All the incoming staff were very friendly and welcoming! We plan to return and hope to bring friends for a dinner in the wine cellar.

The food was Greek. It was very fresh and seasoned as if you were on the Mediterranean country side. My wife said the chef has a light touch. Our server was attentive and had excellent timing. The wine list compliments the quality of food. We are visiting from California and picked the restaurant because it was walkable from our Inner Harbor hotel in Fells Point. We enjoyed our experience and will return again soon.

This is a very special restaurant! It is a quaint, beautiful spot where the staff makes you feel like family. They work together to make sure you have the best dining experience. The food…divine! Highly recommend!

A true gem of a restaurant nestled in the heart of Fell's Point --there are plenty of reasons why this family-owned establishment has been cherished for over two decades! Everything we ordered from the vast selection of Mediterranean meze (apps) and grilled fish (mains) was excellent... and there were plenty of delicious options for 'seafood-shy' carnivores. The wine list was superb and also featured more interesting 'by-the-glass' options, which can be equally enjoyed by "less-adventurous" wine drinkers or your obnoxious cousin who barely passed his level 1 sommelier exam. Whether you're looking for a fantastic dining experience for 2-4 people, dining solo at the bar, or need a larger table for an extended family (or biz) dinner --there are several seating areas to accommodate your party. Already looking forward to our next outing at the Black Olive!

Wish we came here sooner. It’s a new favorite and can’t wait to be back soon. The small plates are the perfect way to try a variety of their dishes. Very impressed and excited to share it with friends and family!

Everything we ordered was very good. The kitchen was on point and our food came out of the kitchen well prepared and in a timely manner. Our biggest disappointment was in the service. It was borderline terrible. Our waitress would disappear for long stretches at a time. I tried to be patient as there were three of us and we were celebrating a birthday, so I was trying go with the flow. I should have said something earlier so for that, it's on me. But, one time we waited 20 minutes for her to come back to our table. Bar service was also incredibly slow. Cannot figure out why it took so long to make two drinks. Once our food was served she never came back to check on us. After we finished eating, she said she'd back with dessert menus and a bag for our leftovers. Another 20 minutes. I finally spoke with the manager who apologized profusely. The ended up comping our desserts, brought us an after-dinner drink on the house and gave us a gift certificate. But, it should have never gotten that far. We ended spending nearly four hours in the restaurant. I had to extend our parking. Management and the owner did try to make amends, but they have got to do something about managing their tables and to make sure people are taken care of. The question is do I go back and give them another try?

A party of 6 reserved seating for outdoors, but when we arrived there was only 2 tables being used on the inside. We asked for an indoor table and was told abruptly no. While there was only a few more people who were present and no party taking the 2 large tables. No one showed to fill those tables while we were there. The food was flavorless. We sent food back due to this. The waiter was slow. The overall experience was not great. We will never return.

We value customer feedback, but your review contains false statements that seem aimed at harming our small, family-owned business. You claimed we chose not to seat you at available tables, but those tables were reserved weeks in advance. To suggest otherwise is misleading and unfair. As for our food being flavorless, our cuisine is rooted in authentic Greek traditions, focusing on simplicity, freshness, and the natural taste of ingredients. We use minimal seasoning—lemon, olive oil, sea salt, and organic herbs—to highlight the true essence of the food. This approach reflects our heritage and aligns with what the world health community praises as the Mediterranean diet. I witnessed the entire event and personally visited your table; our cuisine has stood the test of time for over 27 years.
