We are a BYOB restaurant!

Welcome to Black Lab Bistro. We trust healthy food make happy life. Our mission is to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It is a perfect destination for you to spend the time with the boss, getting together with old friends or date night with that special someone. We have 3-course prix-fixe for $25, Serving from Sunday to Thursday. Our menu items including braised beef short ribs, lump crab cakes, duck and scallops are must haves. Diners are invited to bring their own wine, beer or champagne.

Great spot to get a good meal before a show at the Colonial. Awesome crab cakes.

There's so much to say! I absolutely loved my experience at Black Lab Bistro. I got a Ribeye Steak with a Mushroom Demi Glace and it was phenomenal! It came with free Bread, Whipped Seasoned Butter, Broccoli, and Mashed Potatoes for $36! Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. All their desserts are homemade so I decided I had to get something... Sooo I got the Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream Sandwich and it was Great! I seriously had zero complaints. It was a beautiful, quiet, and clean place. The service was excellent and definitely the best you could possibly receive. Highly recommend!

My husband and I ate here for an intimate Thanksgiving meal for the 2nd time and it was wonderful. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. For entrees he got the duck with seared scallops and I had the butternut squash ravioli and they were both delicious. Ended with crème brûlée which was perfect. The dining room is not huge but in a tastefully decorated room with beautiful old woodwork and ceiling. Service is always good and friendly and the food is prepared and presented expertly. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Amazing food, Salamon and Seafood Fra Diavlo, seasoned perfectly, portion size is perfect, and the taste is outstanding! Only complaint is the noise level. It's pretty loud, not insane but not a lot of quiet conversations

Food was excellent! Service was pretty good - though we were only asked once if everything was good. The only thing that I really deducted to the overall rating was the noise level. It was LOUD. I had to ask my boyfriend to repeat himself several times.

Every dish we sampled was thoughtfully prepared and presented. And we enjoyed every bite! Our server was professional and friendly. When we're back in Phoenixville, the Black Lab will be on our radar.

I could live on their food! The Brussel sprouts are divine and the shrimp and grits were amazing too.

First time trying this spot. We tried the Brussel sprouts and short ribs. Both were delicious. Our server Jim was very attentive and kind. The girls working at checkin and filling waters were friendly too. Definitely recommend and will go again.
