Always great Filet Mignon, beef ribs, shrimp, etc. Black Angus has always been our favorite restaurant! Staff is welcoming and manager visibly present helping and engaging guests.

It is my favorite restaurant and my steak dinner was just as good as usual. The service was excellent and we had a great time.

Our server Nick was stellar -- outstanding service is what brought this review up to the four-star range. My father loved his steak/lobster tail combo; I had lobster as well and will say it was a bit rubbery and overcooked...not worth what I paid for it. The side variety was fantastic...helpful for a family with different tastes. The artichoke dip sweet potatoes were fantastic! I'd avoid the au gratin potatoes -- devoid of the golden brown crust they should have (instead, they sprinkle dried breadcrumbs on top without even cooking them & they taste like Betty Crocker boxed potatoes. Pretty sad. We actually had a reservation at another restaurant and settled on Black Angus when they botched it, simply because they had dad's steak & lobster and could get us in at the last minute on a Saturday night. Because Black Angus was close, convenient, and the food was at least decent, with Nick's service we were actually ok with the switch in the end. Without Nick's service, I would have been very disappointed. Note to management: The rather sterile chain atmosphere could really use a face lift.

The initial greeting from the hostess through our fantastic meal was way above average. We were served by Nick who provided us with professional, friendly and outstanding service. The cocktails were great and the steaks were prepared perfectly!

The steak was perfectly cooked, the potatoes au gratin was delicious, and the green beans were fresh and tasty. Service was great. The decor could use some updating - it’s so dark.

arrived for our reservation they were ready for us; I had iced tea they served us fresh bread and butter was very good. I had the filet steak with salad. The meal was very good service too. I recommend Black angus

Prime Rib medium rare with mushroom topping, creamy horseradish, au jus, and loaded potato was prepared perfectly. I enjoyed every bite. Our server, Suzy, could not have been more helpful. She is the gold standard I use to rate servers at other restaurants.

The 6 oz Sirloin my Partner had was a bit tough and chechewy. My Ribeye was just ok.

For the price the steak was lower quality than expected. Husband got a 14 oz NY Strip for $32. It's a fair price, I know, but he said the meat was really tough. He could only eat half of it. On the otherhand the burnt ends scalloped potatoes, he absolutely loved, and crispy shrimp was really tasty too. Overall I was pleased with the trip. I am a vegetarian and they did have plenty of options in that realm. Just a little disappointed in the low quality of the steak. He said it was like getting a steak at Danny's. Just really tough. Service was amazing!!
