I called ahead (talked to Sophia, asst. manager) to see if their Guinness was working or still out of order (I usually have one Guinness with my meal), I was looking forward to a Guinness after a long hard day working. Sophia said they did have Guinness and yes it was working. I made a reservation and was looking so forward to a great meal and beer. When I arrived for my 5:30 reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (that same manager had a line of people out the door waiting to be seated). We saw our favorite server (Ciara) and she asked us “why are you guys waiting? You have an appt. and I have three tables open”. Another employee said she had to keep prompting that asst. manager to keep the customers going and seated as quickly as possible (there was probably 20 people inside waiting to be seated). I frequent the black angus in San Lorenzo 2-3 times a week and this is the first time we had to wait to be seated with a reservation. Telling me that their was a full operating keg of Guinness (the only beer I drink is Guinness) and then having to wait for our table for 15 minutes when there was three tables available in Ciara’s area just made our dining experience less than favorable. An acting manager told the asst. “if you told them there was Guinness available, then you need to go talk to them, even if you just go to say hello”. Out of the dozens of times we have come here this year, this is the first time we have had a negative experience. Our server (Ciara), did a great job directing our negative experience into a positive one. Ciara should get a raise, because she really takes care of her customers and we don’t even have to tell her how we want our meat cooked and what sides we want (she remembers from previous encounters). She is that bubbly, energetic, kind, customer friendly server. Chris is the manager (he was off on Sunday) and he is the kind of manager who is hands on, he seats people, brings out food, goes around to each table to visit.

We had a great meal, with great service. We visit this location 2-3 times a week and have had excellent service and food for the past three years. Good job, San Lorenzo black angus!

The service was so poor the bartender had to help. My friend was finished with her food before I got my burger. When I asked what took so long she started to argue with me. I should have received my meal for free.

I think the problem with Black Angus is that they need to increase their wait staff. We waited a long time to get served after ordering. There were nine of us. we started out ordering our drinks and it took about 30 minutes for them to bring them to the table. Two of our guests ordered, medium and medium rare prime ribs, but they arrived rare. We had to ask for the brown molasses bread and we waited a little while for that along with our appetizers. Everything was really slow. The waitress forgot to bring my salad. I said just deduct the cost of a salad off my bill. They did give us a refund, but it just too long to be served. We were in that restaurant for approximately 2 1/2 hours and then the waitress although she took my rewards number and credited us forsome of the rewards, she forgot to put my bill on the rewards so I have to call back and get that resolved.

Had attended their special dinner event with a moonshine theme beverages along side not on the menu food. It was so delicious, shrimp and grits, endless bread, sirloin that melted in your mouth, and for dessert mud pie! They had a raffle with giveaways and they gave many of us free desserts for celebrating bday and anniversary. What a memorable night.

I went to BA right when they opened, I had the place to myself at the bar. Danielle was my Server and Bartender, a Real Sweetheart! I had the Filet with blue cheese and mushrooms, perfectly cooked, baked potato soup and broccoli. Thank You BA See you again soon!

This time, the food was very delicious. I ordered a prime rib (medium) with mash & string beans. Kids enjoyed food as well.

Seating was quick and efficient. Server came over and we had a couple of questions. Put in our drink order and asked for a couple of minutes. Server noted she would grab bread. The bread never came, so my assumption is she forgot. It wasn’t terribly busy at the time, so we chalked it up to being a new employee. Good came out and server noted that drinks were delayed due to an issue. Drinks finally did come and so did the meals. I didn’t see our server until the very end for refills and to check on us. All in all not the greatest experience. The food was definitely a little off this time but not bad.
