I’m not sure who our waiter was but he was just a very polite and nice young man. Wish I would’ve gotten his name.

I love Black Angus Lakewood. Everything is always great. It’s one of my favorite restaurants.

First off want to comment on our server, Evan. He was great, very attentive and had a pleasant personality. The food was delicious as always, and there was more than enough as we both took home leftovers. Great dinner at an excellent price!

We had a reservation at 4:30 pm, however it took almost 15 minutes to get us seated.The front of house staff were inattentive, and appeared to be confused with customers waiting to be seated. There were plenty of open tables in the restaurant; however, we were seated in the bar area which was noisy, and playing non-stop 80's music (seemed a bit off brand for a steakhouse). Our server was attentive, however he did not bring water, suggest any specials or ask if we were there for a special occasion (which we were there for a birthday and it was in the reservation notes). The filet mignon steaks served to us were on the fatty side, and for the price should have been leaner. The overall plating of dishes was sloppy, and more attention to detail could've been had. Overall, the food, service and ambiance was not what is expected from a Black Angus Steakhouse, and not what we have experienced in prior visits.

Had not dined here over the past few years When we entered the front door, the overall ambiance was pretty much the same as it had been. Front counter staff were very polite and friendly, and we were seated within a few minutes after arriving. Dining area was nice, and had been updated since our last visit. wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and checked in with us often during the entire time were there. Food - we ordered prime rib, but it was not close to what it had been before. Over cooked, tough to cut and chew, and portion sizes seemed to vary plate to plate.

We had a 2 o’clock reservation. We receded 1:55. After we received it, our waitress was fantastic. She was there ready to take our drink order and brought us bread. When we ordered our food, the food is out in the reasonable amount of time it tasted great.

We went there for the BOGO. I had the full rack of Porkribs. They didn’t taste good but I have never had them before so I was not sure how they should taste. I took half home but I will throw them away. I was very sick last night, needless to say I will never eat them again
