Everyone was nice. Wait for our reservations. Always, but very busy. Rice and veggies rather underdone, slightly. Steak and salmon were perfectly done. Some confusion with ordering eventually straightened out. Just so very busy.

Black Angus El Cajon did an excellent job of serving a huge crowd Valentines special meal for two. Our server was perfect, and the whole team worked very well together. Huge shrimp in shrimp cocktail, good sized lobster tails and steak, and cooked near perfect.

My husband and I went out for our Valentines dinner. We had the steak and lobster special. Totally worth the price. Everything was delicious and our waitress, Monique, was attentive and friendly. The cocktails were great also.

It was a wonderful experience. We were greeted at the door with big smiles and honored our reservation promptly. The waiter was on top of all our needs and even offered suggestions. The lobster was mouthwatering and the margarita was delicious and great becasue it was at a happy hour price.

Ribeye was tough and tasteless. The filet was very skinny - I’ve seen hamburgers that were fatter than this filet! Extremely disappointed in Black Angus this visit. It’s always been a favorite of ours. The service was inattentive, in spite of it being not busy at all, our server was nowhere to be found most of the time.

We went for the Whiskey Experience. Food and cocktails were great. Service as always fast and friendly. Love this restaurant for a casual lunch or date night dinner.

The service we had was good, although there were a few things that could’ve been a little bit smoother. Our servers Sam was very friendly and gave us our food with a good time, but it would’ve been nice if there were a few other people checking on us. The food itself was Good, but one of the things we ordered was a steak and there was no flavoring at all. The beef was very old. I would say that our experience overall from one to five would be a four
