Love the pace of how they brought appetizer, main meal and finally our dessert. Server was sweet and attentive but not obtrusive.

We reeeally like BA. Last night might have been an off night for them. ??? We ordered from tbe Campfire menu. Our appetizer, spinach/artichoke dip was maybe warm, but definitely not hot like usual. We ordered our regular steaks. Hubby NY med well... it wasn't. It was more on the rare side. It took a while before our waiter got back to our section, so having him take it back was kind of moot. He just ate what he could from the edges and brought the rest home for the dog. His salad potato and iced tea was great. For dessert we ordered the cheese cake. I didn't eat any as it was too small of a slice for 2 to be able to share. We won't do that again. BUT, do not dispare. My dinner, Rib Eye, was awesome and so was everything else. Except, I didn't get dessert. So. There you have it.

We were seated upon arrival and quickly caught up with our server, Christy, before ordering. We asked for a bottle of the wine of the month and Christy brought back a bottle of next month's wine of the month as they had run out of this month's. It was quite pleasant and nicely complemented our meal.

We showed up early and were seated immediately. Our server, Christy, showed up shortly later and another wonderful dining experience ensued. A wonderful evening!

I was really disappointed to have to wait 30 minutes after the time of our reservation and arrival to be seated. We would have had the same wait as walk-ins. After we were seated, our server, Christy, took very good care of us and served us an excellent meal. We quite enjoyed teh wine of the month as an accompaniment to the meal.

I love Black Angus and come fairly often to meet friends for a casual but delicious dinner and the value for the price - in these very difficult economic times - is very good. BUT - there is one big problem. It’s happened to me on three or four different occasions including last evening: the kitchen does not time preparation of the different courses (i.e., appetizer, salads, entrees) properly. It is not the fault of the servers as each time this has occurred it has been with a different server. We get our entrees or salads just a few minutes after we get our appetizers. This is so annoying and a real pet peeve of mine. We have to turn our attention immediately to our meals and abandon enjoying the appetizer or the entrees will get cold. The whole experience then becomes very frustrating instead of enjoyable. PLEASE do something to time the serving of courses properly! This isn’t difficult to do. Every other restaurant does it. Black Angus management needs to address this.
