Very good old school neighborhood restaurant. Very good food, decent prices (for NYC). The steaks are high quality and expertly prepared. Our first time last night and will definitely return.

Wonderful restaurant, especially eating on the terrace. The best duck confit I’ve had outside of France. Very attentive service. Looking forward to my next visit.

Service was a little slower than usual but it was a beautiful night and the place was full. Bread came after the starters and they used to serve bread prior to the starters. Food as always delicious - and good drinks and wine by the glass.

The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive. The manager came by a few times to see how everything was and we appreciated that.

Outstanding Food and service, but even the AC was on, as the doors were open, it was uncomfortable on a hot humid day

Had another outstanding meal at Bistro Vendome a few days ago. Excellent food and service. Dover sole is outstanding. Early evening on the outside terrace is the place to be. We kinda overstayed our 2 hour window but they were very nice about it. Owner is so personable and welcoming. We live in the neighborhood so this is our reliable French restaurant. There are other options but this is the best.

The restaurant was hopping! My son and I were seated inside upstairs . The doors were open and it was a lovely night. We shared mussels as an appetizer. For dinner i had the always delicious soft shell crabs, my son the dover sole. The rose was perfectly chilled and very refreshing. Service was exceptional.

Lovely as always. We had hors d’oureves at my apt w/ friends before dinner. We ordered numerous appetizers, as we had already overdone it. Service was first class, as always. Not even a slight flinch that we weren’t ordering mains. Mussels Onion soups Shrimp cocktails Tuna tartare Profiteroles Everything was superb‼️ Love this neighborhood gem‼️‼️
