Ce restaurant incontournable de Jacksonville est situé dans le quartier historique de San Marco. Le Bistro AIX est un mélange exaltant de sites touristiques, de sons, et des multiples saveurs caractéristiques de Jacksonville. La carte s’inspire d’une cuisine de bistro français comprenant diverses spécialités grillées ou cuites au feu de bois telles que les pizzas, les pâtes, les risottos, les steaks, ainsi que les fruits de mer. Le personnel sera à vos petits soins et fera preuve d’un grand professionnalisme. Déjà récompensé pour ses vins, ce restaurant met à votre disposition plus de 250 vins, dont 50 servis au verre. Vous pourrez également tester un des nombreux cocktails artisanaux de l’établissement, ainsi que plusieurs martinis, disponibles au bar. La salle à manger du restaurant est mise en valeur par de superbes murs de briques originaux, datant de 1940. Bistro Aix was a favorite of ours for many years, but we probably have not been in 2 years. We went for one last time before they close, and it was such a disappointment. The menu is down to very few options, and was missing many of the menu mainstays (no blue cheese chips or French onion soup). And the food was mediocre at best. My steak was undercooked and not a quality cut of meat and the fries were undercooked as well, on top of appearing to be low quality frozen fries. The bar was also very slow with our orders, even though there couldn’t have been more than 20 people in the restaurant. It’s sad, but clearly the restaurant has run its course.

We found this gym two years ago and every time we come back into town for a horse show, we try to make it a point to go down there because we love it.

This restaurant is listed amongst some of best restaurants in my area. It is very unfortunate and misleading to include this establishment with such well respected restaurants. Although the service was great, the food was lukewarm at best. Our entrees were slightly above Chef Boyardee canned ravioli. Long story, we won’t be returning to Bistro Aix.

There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and they were not making pizza because they didn’t want to fire up the oven for it. They were out of two of the things we wanted to order. We have ordered the short ribs several times in the past. This time they were low quality and tough.

It saddens me to say, the food and service has gone downhill. Service was poor - not knowing the menu, not refilling waters/drinks and checking in. Food was terrible for all three of us.

My husband and I had reservations which I had to give them my credit card information to make. When we arrived at the restaurant on time, the doors were locked and they were closed. We are still confused as to why no one contacted us to cancel our reservation, especially since we had driven all the way from Fleming Island to have dinner.

It’s sad but it seems like they’ve given up. Server was nice but that was the only positive part of the experience. Every part of the meal was disappointing and it seems like this is not unique experience being that there were only 3 tables on Saturday night at 7pm. The issues we encountered were not the result of a “bad night” they were the result of management giving up on what could be (and once was) a cool restaurant. Again, just sad and I won’t give it another chance.

I haven’t been to Bistro AIX in 2 years and was super excited to get a same day (Friday 630pm) reservation- that should have been a sign. The restaurant was fairly empty, only a few couples. Starting cocktail took about 25 minutes to receive, which was 10 minutes after our appetizer the Calimari ( came out room temp - precooked and waiting onstage someone to order). They had summer menu with filet on it and was out of filet on Friday night at 7pm. The alternative was the duck, the duck was chewy and the skin like rubber served over cold mashed potatoes. Needless to say I have dined at Bistro AiX 40 times since they opened and the lack of quality and poor experience was very disappointing. I was so disappointed I went online while waiting on our cocktails and read several bad reviews as of recently- should have looked prior. The couple two tables away leaned in to the couple next to us and said good luck with your meal, I hope your experience is better than ours. That confirmed to me it just wasn’t our expectation and poor experience.
