Available for hoedowns, hootenannies, hullabaloos & other private parties With 10,000 sq. ft. of space we have plenty of room for events of all sizes; we have a semi-private area that caters up to 45 giving you all the atmosphere of the main restaurant but your own space to play with. There is also the option to hire one floor or exclusive use of the restaurant for your event. We can also accommodate drinks reception parties on both upper & lower decks of the restaurant and will be happy to discuss your requirements. Waiters were absolutely lovely, but the food was not great. Hush puppies not fully cooked, rest was just fine. Overall quite pricey for the quality of food given.

This was our first time at big easy and it was amazing! The staff was very helpful and the food was incredible, we will definitely be returning and telling everyone they need to try it! Thank you

Ordered the Mac and Cheese. It was tasteless and very oily. The drinks were lovely and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The host was very positive and kind, while servers seemed to ignore me, and when I was spoken to, they were a bit rude.

Very inflexible. A series of inflexible customer service which is off putting. We turned up for our table and were told to sit by the bar and wait as people were just leaving and the table was being cleared. The restaurant was 90% empty so not sure why we would have needed to wait for anyone’s table to be cleared. Mentioned that we were going to the theatre so needed to be quite quick and then got seated immediately which was appreciated. Staff gave us contradicting answers about one of the dishes we wanted which was strange but my friend ended up being able to get what she wanted which was great. The lack of willingness to allow customisations to dishes is not the kind of experience we expect and enjoy when dining out. We were unable to swap the honey mustard dip that came with the chicken tenders. Why? Unable to customise dishes on the menu e.g. swap the chicken for extra beef/pork in the platters. Why? The menu says ‘no substitutes’. Fair enough for communicating this but why?? Is the food not fresh? Do they not care about their customers having the best experience? A couple were then seated next to us and asked if they could move to a less populated area in the restaurant. The member of staff said no because the seats were reserved?! There is no way that anyone would have specified wanting to reserve the tables this couple were asking for. The member of staff was just being difficult for some reason. Understandably, this couple immediately got up and left to go elsewhere. The same thing then happened to another customer who also immediately asked to move to a different table. Weird behaviour from the staff. While trying to catch a member of staff’s attention to get the bill, one lady literally locked eyes with me then did an about turn and walked in the other direction very deliberately. Overall would not recommend. Food was fine but service was bizarre and not what we would expect, especially at a 12.5% service charge added on.

The food was good but not great, generous portions we brought some home. Some of the meat in the sharing platter was a little dry but the ribs I had were lovely. It was loud, there was live music but it had a great atmosphere and we really enjoyed it. Service was average and we did ask for service charge to be removed we felt it excessive for what we got.

Found a lump of hair in the mac and cheese. General hygiene not very good. Chefs not wearing the correct clothing. Manager not taking our matter more seriously. Will not be eating at this restaurant again. There are much better places to eat.
