Le dernier restaurant du chef et restaurateur Jason Atherton, Berners Tavern est un lieu de rassemblement pour manger et pour s'entretenir, ouvert toute la journée pour le déjeuner, le dîner, le souper, le thé de l'après-midi et le souper tardif. Le restaurant se situe au sein de The London EDITION Hotel à Berners Street à Fitzrovia, au cœur de Londres, et est accessible par une entrée distincte sur la rue principale. I was there at a quiet time (12:15) so it was nice for people who like a quieter meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty as well. Bit more expensive than a well reviewed restaurant in Paris, which I also visited but the food was high quality and I was on holiday so not really complaining :)

We celebrated our 51st Wedding Anniversary at Berners Tavern and the food and the service was amazing 5 star. The waiter was fantastic and even took a picture of us and gave us a printed photo how cool was that! Also we got a candle and a cake with a beautifully written message in chocolate for a happy anniversary. A very special place 👍🥂🍾

I was a bit disappointed by the food and the service. My potatoes were very salty. There were only 6 gnocchi is the plate (main). We had to ask to get of glass of water to be refill every time. I found that the food and the service was better the previous time I went. That being said, our waiter was very nice and apologetic. And my starter was delicious.

Terrific location, beautiful setting, and a very memorable classic restaurant/tavern. My only issue was with the service. It was rushed and although it wasn’t busy when we were there we couldn’t get the attention of our server. Basically he was nice but inattentive, yet at the same time rushing us to order.
