Le dernier restaurant du chef et restaurateur Jason Atherton, Berners Tavern est un lieu de rassemblement pour manger et pour s'entretenir, ouvert toute la journée pour le déjeuner, le dîner, le souper, le thé de l'après-midi et le souper tardif. Le restaurant se situe au sein de The London EDITION Hotel à Berners Street à Fitzrovia, au cœur de Londres, et est accessible par une entrée distincte sur la rue principale. Our second visit to Berners Tavern and equally good at all levels. Great food - nice atmosphere/ not overly noisy so you can talk to your guests - amazing wine list. The server and sommelier were top class. Relaxed - well informed and helpful.

Expectations are high when you book a restaurant at this price point. I booked this for a birthday treat for my husband having dined at other Jason Atherton places previously and enjoyed them. This was different however, sadly. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but despite this the typical service you’d expect wasn’t there. We asked for extra bread that never came and had to ask multiple times for water top ups. It was also quite hard to understand what the waiter was saying but that could have just been me. With that said, the food was good and the steak in particular was delicious. All in all, an underwhelming service experience, especially given the prices.

Beautiful room, food is good, inattentive and slow service for a restaurant at this level and cost. expensive wine list. Restaurant was surprisingly lacking in customers.
