Had better service than the Schaumburg location.. staffs are attentive and the cook was good.. food came out better- cooked right! Will come to this location again

We went here for my birthday based off of a $30 dollar off coupon we had from a birthday email offer. The presentation, service, and food were ok. (6/10) Where the issue arose was when we checked out and went to use the coupon they denied it on the basis that it had to be redeemed between Monday - Thursday. A few things with this: 1. No where on the email did it say it was conditionally redeemable. 2. My birthday was on a Sunday this year. 3. We asked at the start of the meal if we could redeem the coupon, and we we're told we could. The manager did work with us slightly after showing us the certificate that stated specifically the dates the coupon was redeemable, but overall I wouldn't eat here again. The food was OK, but not worth $30 a plate.

Saturday noon time birthday lunch. Restaurant was not busy which made it easier to talk. Lunch menu prices were fair. Really enjoyed the "show" but on by the chef at our table. Service was prompt. Appreciated receiving a dessert for the "birthday boy" in our party along with singing "Happy Birthday". Must admit I am not a "fan" of the communal seating used at Benihana and other Japanese Steakhouses - making such restaurants in my opinion not suitable for a business meal or for a romantic dinner.

Service was not great. The restaurant was extremely crowded. I think there were just not enough servers to keep up with the amount of tables. We had to go back to the bar to get refills on our drinks because the waiter never came back to take a second drink order. I had to go to the bar to ask for water. Our hibachi Chef took forever. I think he needs to be retrained. We were there for almost 3 hours. Our steak was overcooked. We’ve never had such a bad experience here before.

I get that everyone has to make a profit! But we each ordered hibachi dinner that comes with fried or white rice and the server asked us if we wanted the chicken fried rice or white rice option, I of course said yes, because I didn’t want the rice option, didn’t realize that was an upgrade!! Sneaky!! That won’t happen again! I’m going to start asking if there’s an additional cost to every thing a server offers!

It was said that this is a hibachi place but seems to be a teppanyaki grill. Nevertheless, we had a great party.

Not sure if you read my comments after my last visit, but this time, was the best. The food was cooked properly, there were less that 8 people at the table. We had a great time!!!

It is ok, the last two times we went in the last couple of month. One time we had a waitress that spoke little English it took forever to checkout process, but everything thing was great . This time we had a new cook and he was trying but the again over 2 hours to eat and pay, it was to long.
