Always a great place to celebrate an occasion w family. Food is fantastic! Chef Joel was superb however, was not thrilled w server as onion soup were delivered without asking as my adult children wanted Miso; the used dishes were not taken away; when I asked for more water, she delivered glasses to others at the table but forgot my families. Otherwise, we will continue to enjoy this restaurant as we have for MANY years!

Overly crowded and noisy. Service was terrible. I go to the Benihana in Irving, TX twice per year. The Irving Benihana is not crowded and noise level is acceptable. The food taste in NY was great. I wouldn't eat here again.

The food was delicious, but we had to wait a very one time for them to cook the food. The cost was high as we did not know ordering the house wine was $23.00 a glass.

What a disappointment. I’ve been going to Benihana for 40 years, when they were the only Teppanyaki game in town. Now there are other options, and they are better. We waited an hour and a half for a chef to finally come over when we should’ve been told ahead of time that they were short-staffed. Our waiter also messed up a lot because he had too much on his plate literally and figuratively. Once the chef came, he was in a rush to get to the next table waiting for him. The whole thing was not good. For the prices they charge (which are higher than many others), I expect better. They also changed the recipe of their mustard sauce which was the only thing that made me make the reservation, so now I know I don’t need a return trip. Bye Bye, Beni.

Been here several times and service and quality declined each time. Unfortunately this chain is not what it used to be. $250 for 3 adult meals a kids meal and 1 order of sushi is outrageous. Oh and our reservation was at 7 and we didn’t get out till almost 9pm. Next time we’ll pick something else.

The food was good however, the portion size was small. The Chief had no personality. The Chef also, didn't adhere to food restrictions.
