Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres ! Installés autour d'une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous présentera ses talents dans l'art ancien du Teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue ! Il ne vous restera qu'à faire votre choix parmi la diversité de savoureux mets qui vous sont proposés (bœuf, poulet ou fruits de mer) et à vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter avec un cocktail signature. Benihana Troy est situé sur Big Beaver Road, entre Crooks Road et Coolidge Highway, près de la Somerset Collection et du Somerset Park Golf Course. L'entrée et le stationnement sont situés à l'arrière du bâtiment. Des frais de service de 18% sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit personnes ou plus. Les réservations ne sont disponibles que dans la zone du teppan (salle à manger principale). Afin de satisfaire tout le monde, les réservations ne sont pas acceptées pour le bar à sushi ou pour l'espace lounge.

Chef didn’t do anything special to entertain the kids. Not interactive. Ordered appetizers and they never came. No acknowledgement of a birthday they asked about. Food was decent but definitely shorted items.

Our reservation was for 6:30 and after waiting about half an hour, we opted to sit in the sushi room in hopes of getting our dinner sooner. Unfortunately, our waitress was busy and after taking our order, we didn’t see her back after another long wait with lukewarm onion soup and salad with clumpy dressing. No green tea and we had to get our own water. The restaurant became busier with the lobby overflowing with waiting people and our food which finally came was disappointing. I ordered the yakisoba trio which was too much soggy udon noodles filled with cabbage, onions, scallions and tiny pieces of chicken, shrimp and fatty beef. It felt like leftovers protein pieces thrown in overcooked udon noodles buried in cabbage and onions. We had to insist on our shrimp appetizer but was so disappointed didn’t even want their complementary birthday dessert. We had went to a Benihana’s in California last month which was delicious, timely and accommodating. I don’t think we will be returning here.

They was understaffed our cook was amazing he had to do double duty because our waitress forgot to give us forks so we couldn’t eat the food that we was preparing. So he went and got them .

Reservation at 7:45pm. No one waited on us until 8:10pm. Finally, after one of the guests asking, we started service. Chef did not show up until 9:00pm and we did not finish until 10:00pm. Have had similar experience with the Troy location. Management is lacking. Service is always slow. We have been frequenting the Farmington Hills location which does a much better job. Most likely will not return to Troy location after over 30 years of frequenting the restaurant. The place is also in need of a good remodeling. Grease was dripping on our plates from the hood fan above.

Ok, we love the food. The fried rice is fantastic, everything was cooked well. Our problems were: 1. that it took over an hour for our chef to arrive. The entire evening took 2-1/2 hours, from being seated until paying the check. 2. We ordered two meals, one sushi, and some extra fried rice, and the bill was over $140. 3. Not totally the restaurants fault, but the next table had four women who came from the bar, drunk, loud, and obnoxious. I think the entire restaurant could hear their “conversation”. The two men with them looked very embarrassed, and the couple sitting at their table looked like they wanted to move. Again, we love the food, but the place has been going downhill with service and value for a couple years no.

We recently visited Benihana in Troy and, while the food was good, several aspects of the experience were disappointing. First, the bathrooms (men's, women's, and especially family) were filthy, which really detracted from the restaurant's overall atmosphere. At our table, dishes from the salad and soup courses were never cleared, leaving us with very little space for the rest of the meal. Additionally, our drinks were never refilled, leaving us quite thirsty by the end of the meal. This level of service didn’t meet our expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. Lastly, while we look forward to the hibachi "show" when dining here, this experience was underwhelming. The chef barely spoke, performed very few tricks, and had minimal interaction with our table, which took away from the fun and engaging atmosphere we've enjoyed at other hibachi restaurants. Overall, while we enjoyed the food, the service and cleanliness really need attention.

This location is significantly better than others I have been to. However, I am always sad I don't get the green tea and ice cream that is supposed to be part of the meal. Our chef was super kind, incredibly talented, and very efficient. Our waitress was very attentive and quick to assist.

Great experience for children. Food was of average quality. The area we sat in was very dirty with food on the floor, dirty dishes and grease and soot visible on walls and ceilings. Signs of age and deteriorating conditions throughout the lobby and main dining hall.

I enjoyed my meal. However, this Benihana location need a bit of scrubbing. The chairs were dirty. The table was sticky. I had to ask for another plate because it had something on it. There was also food and crumbs on the floor.

The chef was great but the service was lack luster. Our server wasn’t present and there were stacks of salad and soup bowls at our table until the meal was over. It was cluttered and besides the chef it wasn’t a good experience. I remember Benihana as being a special place and it felt run down and like I was at an average chain restaurant.
