Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. Waited an hour after being seated. Once the chef arrived he was pleasant, however that long wait was simply unacceptable.

Not as nice as Benihana usually is. No decor, very tacky and cheap interiors. All the tables are crammed tightly in one giant noisy room. The staff were very nice though, and the food and experience are good. I’d recommend going to a different Benihana location.

I received a happy hour all day email and wanted to try a few items and drinks. We wait in bar area, we are not given a menu or asked if we’d like to purchase anything. 25 minutes later we are seated and told we can not order anything for happy hour although email states nothing about all day happy hour being exclusively in bar area. I asked to speak to the manager Marlon who has terrible customer services that matches his bad built body. I move to the bar to eat some of the most terrible happy hour food I’ve ever experienced, drinks were good and the bartenders Matt’s service was great. Before leaving Matt tells Marlon is not participating in as advertised “happy hour” all day and will have to manually override prices in system. Terrible, terrible managerial oversight he really gave off incompetent, poor vibes. Overall I will not be dining there again thanks to tacky Marlon.

We were Chef Naz’s last table and he still made the experience memorable. The restaurant has outstanding service from the bartenders, to waiters, and chefs, getting better with each time we come here. We love to celebrate my family’s birthdays here and we will continue to return.

The wait was extremely long despite having a reservation and once we were seated we had another long wait. The tables were dirty, dishes were dirty, service wasn’t great. The overall experience was disappointing.

Go before 4:30 to have an outstanding experience. It gets very crowded and noisy around 5:00 pm!
