Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Horrible experience and service on Christmas. Made a reservation 2 months ago, called and confirmed it live on 12/23. Showed up shortly before our reservation time and were told it would be an hour and a half before we could be seated. Manager was not apologetic in the least and offered us a free appetizer if we chose to wait and dine there. The other hosts ignored the customers leaving the manager to handle everything. Lots of upset customers in the lobby having the same experience.

We had a wonderful meal, with fantastic service! the only downside was being seated 45+mins after our reserved time.

Reservations were made hour and a half wait no place to sit outside except for four people there’s 20 people outside waiting in the freezing cold

The restaurant was extremely busy. All servers were very friendly, just not enough staff to provide the service expected at Benihana.

We dined for Christmas. The food was good and I am sure the workers did the best they could. However, it was a dreadful experience. We didn't get seated until approximately 50 minutes after our reservation time, then the wait at the teppan grill was unbelievable before the chef came out. We paid full price and generously tipped our servers because once again, I don't believe the mismanagement was their fault. With Christmas we all should pack patience wherever we go, but this was beyond reasonable. Not one accommodation was offered to help our table digest being mishandled like this. We should not have to wait two hours to eat when we had a reservation. Not enough chefs or staff is a problem that needs to be solved, or they need to just close on holidays and call it a day. The food is delicious, but not worth me feeling mishandled or my time disrespected like that again. I hope the restaurant reaches out to bridge the gap to those of us speaking out who trusted their Christmas Day and families with Benihana.

Everything was wonderful. Denise and Alvaro were both very attentive to the whole table.

Although we had reservations for 8pm, we did not get seated until 9 pm. It was Xmas eve so I guess the holidays can severely impact their schedules.

Over an hour wait on my reservation and table wasn't working and had to get moved to another table. 3 hours spent in that restaurant

We had to wait nearly 70 minutes before we were finally seated. The hostesses were uninviting, rude and entitled. Once we finally got sat the experience was good. We had Diego as our chef and he was awesome. Hard to snap back from a terrible experience with checking in for our reservation + having to wait so long but the food was good.

Had a reservation but waited over an HOUR to be seated. What is the point of having a reservation? Then when we tried to pay with a gift card we purchased this week specifically for this meal, they said that their system was not able to process the payment. We had the receipt for the gift card but they were still unable to apply it. Horrible experience all around
