Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. Omg the cook name Earl was everything. The food was seasoned his service was extremely great, and his presentation was very funny. Earl alone would make me and my family keep coming back.

Well, we never received our soup, I never received my birthday certificate from chefs table so I paid full price management was very bad. I’ve been going there for over 40 years for my birthday and this was the worst experience I’ve ever experience.. You would think management would have comped something but all I got was a $20 gift certificate. Didn’t ask what kind of ice cream we wanted we had to ask for it. I will be calling corporate tomorrow and everything that we went through how bad experience was and how disappointed we were somebody by 60th birthday there.

The team took excellent care of us tonight in celebrating my sons 30th lap around the sun! While the jokes are a bit corny the laughter they generated from our group added tremendously to the bonds we’ve shared over my son’s lifetime in amplifying the joy of our occasion!! Service was rushed at first and then had to wait 25 minutes to find out they were out of our wine. But he quickly replaced. Food by Saul was fantastic!!

We used to be a customer many times before and now there’s a big difference .We like their way of seating customers. They were so confused how they seat people before. The host ,many thinks he seat those he knows first than those waiting a long time.. Better and a little bit better on their portions of servings now.But wish they don’t use too much butter on those fried rice. Overall we enjoyed back the experience. Thank you.

This particular restaurant in Torrance, Ca. is not what it used to be years ago when the food was excellent, but now it's not as good about the flavor of the food. The soup was almost tasteless, almost just plain water with some coloring but with the ingredients lacking in it. Our cook he appeared to be not to friendly to me, he served me just enough fried rice, (not to mention that it's very high priced for so little served) while he served other people in the same table lots of extra rice, plus other things that I can't remember at this moment. The air conditioned was full blast although it was very cold inside when we first sat down. I don't know what is the purpose of making reservations for a specific hour, when we have to wait half an hour to be called to sit down, and then you have to wait another long time for the cook to start cooking. In general, we are doubting if we will ever come back again in the future.
