Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. Il dispose de 20 tables de teppanyaki et d'un bar à sushis récemment rénové, de même que d'un bar pour profiter du meilleur sushi en ville. Terrible! The wait was over an hour. I checked open table and even with the hour wait… they claimed to have spots every 15 minutes. After 1 hour to be seated, with nowhere else to go… we just waited around until we were called upon. After that it took 20 minutes for the server to even greet us. We finally ordered and over an hot later, we received our soups and salads. The entire experience lasted 4 hours!!!!!! It felt like torture. It was just 4 of us…. Not a large party. This should have been more efficient. I’m really upset and will be emailing both managers today.

Had a wonderful time dinning with family for my husbands birthday. Food was delicious. The only constructive feedback was its very tight seating which made it hard to get up to use the restroom etc. Also we were there for over three hours due to long wait times on food. However, if you know this ahead of time the taste was worth the wait.

It was to celebrate a birthday. A family of 6 sat at same grill. The chef did a very good job preparing the food. The food prep was nothing special. Lacked luster and enthusiasm, that I am accustomed to at this, and other Benihana restaurants. Some of the drink prices seem higher than a few competitors. Overall the meal was very good.

Our reservation was at 7:30pm. We got there at 7:20. We did not get seated until 8:30! What’s the point of a reservation? Once we got sat we waited 10mins for our waitress to come and greet us. We already knew what we wanted to order so she took our order right away. We then waiting 15mins to get soup and salad. We didn’t get out of restaurant until 10pm. Over all, this location was severely understaffed. And it smelled like the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in days. Wont be coming back to this location.

The chef was awesome. The service was average but they were busy. They sat us an hour after our reservation. The way the bartenders were overwhelmed and the servers, on top of the late wait time, it seems like management needs help.

Took my son there last night for his birthday and I must say the three people working last night as the host were awesome. The manager too! We were a large party of 15 and at first we were going to be separate tables, but at the end, we’re all able to sit at tables across from each other. Our shelf was great and the chef that our kids had was amazing. We had Andre as our chef. He was great ! The three hosts and the front I know there was a young girl and two gentlemen. I only got one of the guys names and his name was Andres. I really felt like they were trying to help us and I truly appreciate that! The girl was very sweet and she was happy to see my family and I were able to all sit together. The staff coming out to sing to my son was in all honesty the best. My son had a great time! The manager on duty was direct and up front about wait times and what not and even tho people may take that as being rude, i completely feel the opposite. I appreciate her willingness to accommodate my requests !! Seriously! I must’ve bothered her like 5x but she was always willing to listen and help. Thank you host and manager working 1/3/24 @ 6:30 pm

Today was a terrible experience. 1. Reservation was at 6:30pm and the chef got to the table at 830pm. 2. The party of 6 next to us consisted of 5 teenage girls and one adult. This was the worse experience ever. Two of the girls kept melting the crayons on the grill and the adult didn’t even address it or correct the behavior. 3. When the chef walked away to get a container for my rice (to go rice) one of them stuck her fork on the rice! Disgusting!🤮 and the mom didn’t even address it or apologized. You can tell the mother is clearly the issue. J can’t believe she took no accountability for her daughter’s action. My husband immediately told the chef what happened and the chef was in disbelief. He immediately apologized and told us he would cook another batch of rice and comp the rice for the awful experience. The chef was very nice, friendly and the food was delicious. The waitress seems like she was having a rough day….

The food was excellent. Alex was a fantastic cook and reminded me of the way the food tasted more than 15 years ago. Our server was of top of everything. Will be coming back.
