Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. I have reservations, we made it on time and was seated properly. The initial contact with the greeter and the person that sat us was cordial and responded quickly from my request for highchairs because I have twins. The chef was very efficient with us having a gluten-free guest at our table. He made the food very efficiently, very tasty and took request. Always a good place for me and my four-year-old twins.

Our Teppanyaki Chef, Eric, was great. Our server was mediocre. She didn’t seem interested in serving us. We asked for a few things, normal requests, but she forgot. We got better service from the server at the table across from us. He was refilling our drinks, checking on us, etc. It was loud and many parties were obnoxiously celebrating. Glad we were there for a celebration. It would have been a horrible date spot.

We waited to be seated even though we had a reservation. We sat at the table for an hour before the chef came. When we asked the manager to comp us at least one meal because my daughter ( who was celebrating her birthday)missed a doctor’s appointment because we had to wait for so long, she discounted our long wait and my daughter missing her appointment. She gave us two “ free appetizer” cards, but refused to comp us for my daughter’s meal. She was quite rude!

Had to wait 15 minutes after table reservation check-in. Besides that - loved our chef Eric and food was served well by our waiter as well in a timely matter.

Jesse (our chef) made us a delish meal. Huge fishbowl drink was so good and made our familia lunch fun. Always a good time at Benihanas!

I was rather disappointed with our experience. We learned a friend never been to Benihana and invited him, to have him experience a fun meal. Our chef and the runner were both very nice. Out chef was working on his 10th “experience” for the evening and he still has other tables to hurry to. He was nice but we could all tell be was tired and there was minimal energy. I felt bad for him and know work is working him excessively. We were disappointed with the experience and probably won't return to Benihana in the future. There are better ways to spent $500 for 4 adults and a kid.
