Bienvenue sur Benihana : une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Nos hôtes sont assis en groupes à des tables communes, où votre chef personnel effectuera l'art ancien du Teppanyaki. Admirez-le trancher, couper en dés et préparer un repas qui éblouira vos yeux et vos papilles, que vous choisissiez le steak-qui-met-l'eau-à-la-bouche, le tendre poulet ou les succulents fruits de mer. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Torrance est une icône dans la South Bay. Il a ouvert ses portes en 1981 et continue depuis à offrir à la communauté une excellente nourriture, des boissons et des spectacles. Le restaurant est niché sur la Plaza Del Amo, au carrefour des boulevards Torrance et Hawthorne. I’m never ever leave a review that is negative but I am floored by how disastrous this evening was. It was my daughter’s birthday. We had a reservation but upon arrival we were told it was an hour wait. We traveled so far so we decided to wait in the car. Forget about the million mishaps in between we were finally seated 1.5 hours later. We than sat through another 1.5 hours at our table to finally be fed. Chef was miserable - obviously worn out - the food, lobster shrimp and filer mignon was burnt to a crisp - and a whallop of butter was thrown on it. I took a photo for us to laugh at later. Every one of us at the table was falling asleep and so upset about our ruined meal. The worst of it was I reached out to a manager early on when we did not get our food within the first hour… no one came to our table to entertain us… tell us “ so sorry but we are having a really hard night… deserts on us or what should have been said was our meals were free. Such a disgrace. Our hard earned money and everything else.. just disgusting service 2 managers we spoke with and none of them offered any compensation or any sorrys. That’s the worst part of it. They could give a crap… just floored at how bad the management is - we will never go back to Benihanas again.

We waited 2 hours to be seated, the manager Emma was not helpful at all, horrible way to spend Valentine’s Day/ my husbands birthday. Will never go back.

This used to be one of the better Benihana locations but the last few times I've been here it's been horrible. It seems they overbook or have short staff. The last few times I've been here we had to wait over an hour to get seated. One occasion, it was 2 1/2 hour wait for my wife's birthday. This was on a regular weekday. They don't seem to care anymore about the quality of service at this location or offer an apology or compensation but they expect you to give a generous tip.

Terrible, had reservations for 5:45, got there at 5:30 & was told they were still trying to seat people for the 5:00 reservation! Line of people were out the door & everyone was not happy! We left & won’t be going back!

Enjoyed the food and entertainment by the chef! So happy we made reservations for 1:00 pm on Valentine’s Day! I heard that corporate opened up the reservation line and had 1400 people reserved for that evening ! No way is everyone getting seated! I hope I don’t see Torrance Benihana on the news! There are going to be a lot of angry people!!

The food was good, the service was also good. The only issue is the wait time. Even if you get seated, you're still going to wait a while for a chef to start on your table. Waited 2 hours to get seated and to start preparing food. From what I heard, this is the only Benihana that will have you waiting for a while, but if you can get past all that, the experience and food are great.

The service was great from the beginning very organized the food was excellent for the kids was amazing the show of how they cook the food they were impressed overall was amazing was happy to celebrate my 13 year old daughter birthday celebration
