I’ve been coming to this location for 20 years. The food quality is consistent and the staff is overall friendly. The short falls are simply that this place is just super busy and has experienced staffing challenges that make it hard to keep up with the demand. The team works hard so just know if you are there on a night they are backed up be prepared to have some cocktails and enjoy talking with whoever you go with and the time will fly by like it did for us. We will be back soon because Benihana is still the king of Hibachi.

We arrived for a 7:15 reservation. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes at the table, I asked to speak to the manager who replied “it’s the holiday and other tables have waited over 90 minutes” we left. What a waste of time and what a disappointment as we were there to celebrate a birthday. Never again!

Made a reservation for 1:30 pm but wasn’t seated until 2 pm. After being seated the server came out within a few minutes to take the orders (drinks and meals). At 2:45 pm we were still waiting for the cook to come to start preparing the food which we then requested to see a manager. At 3pm no manager so we decided to leave with many other guests. The restaurant seemed to be short staffed but no one communicated that.

Overpriced. Jacked up prices for Christmas Day I think it’s terrible to extort people in a holiday. Waited one hour for chef to come cook. Cocktail was 90 percent juice. Chicken was rubbery and $38. This is hibachi not Peter Lugers.

Awesome!! Staff was excellent!! From the greeter, to the wait staff and the chef. Everything was great!

We had high hopes for our Christmas Eve dinner and were very disappointed. The reservation was at 7 and we were not seated till close to 7:45. We were warned upon arrival that it would be at least an hour wait once we were seated for our chef to get to the table. At that point we had no choice but to stick around and make the best of it. Our chef was not very engaging with us and actually seemed annoyed the entire time. The filet mignon was over cooked and all the food was over seasoned with salt and pepper and lacked any other taste. Most importantly was that my daughter has a gluten allergy we told the waiter, the cook and all staff. Her food was prepared in the kitchen to avoid any cross contamination. Unfortunately she was very ill that evening so either the food was gluten contaminated or was just the regular food with no precautions taken.

We waited too long for the chef to come out and cook, already fatigued when chef came out.

Horrible service and over priced. We had ordered the shrimp hibachi with Veg frid rice and were charged $7 per person extra for the fried rice. Apparently the $40 included only the 7-8 pieces of shrimp. For the hibachi veggie, we were given 1 thin slice of zucchini each, cut into small pieces and onions. MashroomAlsos were given to half the people on the table and not the others. On ordering a side of veg lo mein, we were just given white noodles with soy sauce and again charged $7 for that. The service was also very slow and bad. Just to add the chef was in a fowl mood and did not care for any pleasentaries. He did not do any of the hibaci place antics for which we had decided to go there with the kids. My kids also came back totally disappointed.
