Le Benihana vous invite à vivre une expérience culinaire incomparable. Assis en groupe autour d'une table commune, vous pourrez observer votre chef personnel pratiquer l'art ancien du teppanyaki. Maniant ses ustensiles avec dextérité, le chef préparera sous vos yeux de délicieux steaks et d'excellents plats de poulet ou de fruits de mer, pour le plus grand plaisir de vos pupilles et de vos papilles. Vous pourrez également déguster des sushis cuisinés par un chef talentueux, ainsi que des cocktails maison. Le Benihana de Scottsdale est installé à proximité de parcours de golf de championnat, de spas luxueux et du Westworld, qui accueille chaque année le championnat des pur-sang arabes et les célèbres enchères automobiles Jackson-Barrett. Le restaurant est situé sur la Promenade, à l’angle des rues Scottsdale Rd. et Frank Lloyd Wright Drive. It took 45 minutes for us to be seated and another hour before getting our meals with no apology or discount from the staff.

Food was great and Tony our chef brought exceptional service and showmanship. That being said this Benihana doesn’t seem to run efficiently like other locations - I understand that even with a reservation I will not be seated immediately due to the nature of this establishment. However, it is unfortunate that even with my 7:00pm reservation, we were not seated until 7:34pm, did not receive our first course until 8:20pm, and our chef arrived at 8:40pm. We have been to several Benihanas in the past but the wait has never been this extensive. Don’t come hungry or bring a snack for emergencies lol

Our reservation was for 6:30 and we didn’t sit until 6:50. We didn’t receive water and able to place a drink order until 7:30! The service was beyond slow… people that sat after us were getting fed but they kept apologizing for delay saying short staffed. When all said and done, our we didn’t leave the restaurant until 10:20! Almost a 4 hour dinner to celebrate a birthday and we were all starving a miserable

If you come here just know the food is subpar at best we spent a few hundred dollars here and the food was all very overcooked and no flavor on anything service was good a little slow but it was busy so it’s ok. Don’t get seafood if you want something that satisfies you. It’ll be chewy and tough but the steak was good and cooked perfectly. Go to Osaka instead the food is better and it’s less expensive

Can you do zero stars? I used to love Benihana so much and special celebrations were so fun to have at this spot. After last night, we won’t be back. Had a 6pm reservation, the whole party of 10 had arrived by 6:03pm - then we waited until 6:47 to be sat. The host said it wasn’t “their fault” as their corporate office had overbooked them and they had apparently been sat with 150 guests all at one time. Then when we finally got to a table, our waiter was not great. He tried to bring a round of drinks and got things all mixed up and took another 25 minutes. Then the waiter told us that he was trying to get our order together and find a chef for our table, but it was gonna take a little bit. When we asked how long a little bit was and asked if we could get our soup and salad at least he said I don’t know and sent his general manager to the table. The general manager proceeded to tell us how the terrible service and the reservations, and all of it was not their fault. Things have been different since they sold to the company and had been running terribly ever since. Also, the manager had been on duty for 13 hours he shared but he had “ significantly” discounted our bill. I told him “I can imagine it’s a challenging night as I was in the restaurant industry for many years, but I’ve never had such a messed up dining experience when trying to celebrate the holidays with family” and thanked him for offering the discount but we just wanted our food. When they finally got us a chef to our table, he couldn’t seem to keep the order straight, was just as frazzled as the waiter, and served us the wrong dishes. At that point, we were so hungry at that point we just ate what was in front of us. Oh, and that significant discount was 20%. If you don’t have 3 1/2 hours to eat dinner, I would stay away from this place - zero stars do not recommend.

Our reservation was at 8pm we got there before. We didn’t get seated until 9. Once sat we they didn’t actually start until 930. Didn’t end up eating until 10. I think it’s a poor consideration of our time. Of our reservation and on top of that no empathy for their lack of servicing us

We were seated immediately and ended up with a table to ourselves which was nice. It wasn't too crowded due to the time we picked for our visit. The server came over immediately and took our drink order and she was great. She took our food order and before we'd finished the salad our chef arrived and went over our food selection and then he put on quite a show which kept us entertained during the entire meal. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our visit very much.
