Le Benihana vous invite à vivre une expérience culinaire incomparable. Assis en groupe autour d'une table commune, vous pourrez observer votre chef personnel pratiquer l'art ancien du teppanyaki. Maniant ses ustensiles avec dextérité, le chef préparera sous vos yeux de délicieux steaks et d'excellents plats de poulet ou de fruits de mer, pour le plus grand plaisir de vos pupilles et de vos papilles. Vous pourrez également déguster des sushis cuisinés par un chef talentueux, ainsi que des cocktails maison. Le Benihana de Scottsdale est installé à proximité de parcours de golf de championnat, de spas luxueux et du Westworld, qui accueille chaque année le championnat des pur-sang arabes et les célèbres enchères automobiles Jackson-Barrett. Le restaurant est situé sur la Promenade, à l’angle des rues Scottsdale Rd. et Frank Lloyd Wright Drive. It’s hard to overcome finally being sat 55 minutes after our reservation, especially with teenagers that were hard to lock down in the first place. Full experience took 3 hours because each stage took so long. This was Sunday before Veterans Day, so not sure if it was mismanaged scheduling, or if they simply don’t have the staff. Hostess told me they were running a little behind and that it would take “15 minutes or so.” I checked 4 more times and each time it sounded like we were almost there. The food was good, but given the price and length of time everything took, I’m not sure I’ll be back again any time soon. Very disappointing because I specifically chose Benihana over Ah-So, which is much closer to our house.

Restaurant was overbooked and short chefs so our 6:30pm reservation got us sat at 7 pm and chef arrived at our table at 8 pm. We didn’t leave until 9:30pm. Family with young children at our table had exhausted kids. Manager offered a discount but when checks came, no discount. We reminded our server who was just as tired of the stress of grumpy customers. We received our discount finally but as we walked out the mother of the kids was giving the manager an earful. Apparently they don’t do their own booking and OpenTable kept taking reservations. It was a mess.

We had a great time at Benihana's. The only complaint or thing that they missed is, we got the kids meal which should have included the ice cream and we didnt receive it.

Dinner was wonderful and the food delicious. Front end workers were amazing dealing with a few unpleasant people who unfortunately had to wait (more than their reservation time )to be seated for dinner. It sounded like corporate went to a new system and over booked the seating. Manager and hostesses were extremely pleasant and tried to make sure they kept everyone updated on times the best they could.

Bar table tops were sticky, floors were a mess, and wait to be seated and while seated was way too long.

Our server “Derek” was fantastic! He was an enjoyable entertainer. There was a mixup on the food going to the wrong person; and my daughter was supposed to get shrimp with her Benihana excellence…she did not receive the shrimp. Overall, it was a great night out!
