Our Chef Frankie was wonderful but restaurant management is terrible. We waited 1 hour for our reservation and it would have taken much longer if we hadn’t been assertive. Too many managers standing around with iPads instead of lending a hand to the rest of the staff so things run more smoothly for customers. Again, our chef and server were great but they were suffering because of poor management.

In my experience, Benihana has been on a steady decline. I love hibachi and the dining concept. But each time I go here, the food is a little worse, the organization worse, the service a little worse. We had a 6.30pm reservation, arrived on time but only sat at table at 7.30. It took until 8pm before any food activity started. They got the order wrong, the chef was disorganized and his skill in preparing the food was average. he had a few tricks, but they weren't focused on cooking skills. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The restaurant had max 10 customers and we have been waited for at least 40 minutes for rolls. I was about to go when they bring our lunch. Food was good . But because of the wait I rushed my lunch to be on time at my appointment. I did not enjoy the moment.

Food delicious, staff pleasant and go above and beyond. Everything was great the only thing we didn’t like was how dirty the place was and the girls bathroom.

Definitely the worst Benihana I’ve ever been to. They got the wrong order for 4 of the 9 people in our party, all of the steaks were overcooked, and the teppan chef was so poor that on three different instances he sent cooking utensils flying at the members of our party (including flinging a knife at one of the ladies). Will never return.

Our reservation was at 7:15pm. We arrived at 7pm and it was packed with large parties impatiently waiting. It seemed to me that they had over booked and were having difficulties fulfilling reservations in a timely fashion. We got seated at 8pm, with two other parties at our table whose reservations were at 7. It took the waitress about 10 minutes to take our drink orders. The cook came to our table around 15 minutes later but couldn't get started because the waitress got the fried rice orders wrong. He needed her to bring more rice but she was nowhere in sight. Once the cook finally got started he gave it his all to be energetic and he put on a great show. However, when serving the food, he gave my husband the colossal shrimp which was part of my meal. Luckily, it was given to my husband and not another guest at our table. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and the entire experience was chaotic and not pleasant. I've noticed thru the years the service and quality of food at Benihana's has declined and not worth the prices they charge. We will not be returning.
