I’ve been to Benihanas plenty of times, but this was the worst visit. I had a reservation for a birthday and this was an absolute disappoint. I should have selected a different restaurant. First off we were seated and at the table directly in front of us there were team members Starbucks drinks at the empty table by the wall. MANY of them and it looked like an employee break area. It took a while for it to get cleared before they sat a party there. Also our cook "Leo" was the absolute worst. He was making jokes in "Spanish" perhaps he thought he was being funny but it was very disrespectful. He’s Asian making jokes in Spanish???? Some of his jokes used terms like "being high" or "looking high". He even called me stupid at one point. I’m all for a good time but that was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We had children at the table which made this even worse. The restrooms were dirty and unkept. Terrible experience and I don’t plan on visiting again.

Waitress is patient explaining everything and attentive throughout dinner. Bar and lounge area is messy and short staffed. Teppanyaki chef is alright, he tried his best cooking while entertaining us. Food is cooked with too much salt and butter, but this is Benihana, who’s actually here for the food anyways.

The food was good. Our waiter was ok. The cook was entertaining. It was too hot and loud.

We had a reservation for 8:00pm but didn't get seated until almost 8:30pm, and no one came to our table until about 9pm. A couple of our plates had food stuck to them, the silverware was gross, and the service was terrible. The food quality wasn't bad, but not great either. The prices were ridiculous for the quality you're getting. We also mentioned to them that it was my friend's 30th birthday, and they did not do anything about it; no singing or cake or anything of the sort. They did for other tables, but not for us. We told them about the birthday in person twice, and also on the reservation online. Oh and they took a picture of us and asked how many copies we would like, so we said 5 copies. They said ok, and never brought them. The only decent thing was the chef's semi-friendly personality. We ended up each paying about $100 a person for everything, and we weren't even full. This place is like the Mcdonalds of teppanyaki. This place is a joke. Definitely not going back.

Chef was awesome as usual. Waitress not so much. Went for birthday with my kids and husband as we do every year and I this year was the worse. Waitress never filled drinks and barely saw her. She took our order and then literally disappeared. We asked another waiter for ice cream for the kids. Waitress came back around go collect plates and kept giving me side eye and didn't say a word?? Not a big deal but on every birthday we celebrate there staff would come sing happy birthday and the kids love joining in, but this year it didn't happen at all--

Just as we’ve come to expect, Benihana was the perfect restaurant to celebrate a birthday in the family. Our chef was original and awesome and we thoroughly enjoyed the night.
