Bienvenue au restaurant Benihana, qui vous fera vivre une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous installés ensemble, autour de grandes tables communes. Vous pourrez admirer votre chef personnel mettre en scène l’art ancien du Teppanyaki (méthode de cuisson traditionnelle sur plaque chauffante), le regarder découper, mettre en cubes et préparer un repas qui ravira vos yeux comme vos papilles. Que vous choisissiez un succulent steak, du tendre poulet ou de délicieux fruits de mer, vous vous régalerez. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par le talentueux chef et vous laisser tenter par un des cocktails de spécialité. Benihana est situé tout près du centre-ville de Salt Lake City, directement en face du Salt Palace Convention Center. Il est caché derrière le Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, à distance de marche du temple Mormon de renommée mondiale.     Very fun experience. I believe children would especially enjoy the experience. The food was delicious. It’s a bit expensive but would be nice for a special occasion.

    We love Benihana! We always eat here for special occasions. The cooks are always really good, well seasoned, and fun! Food is always great.

    The place was understaffed. The staff there did a great job, they just didn’t have enough servers. The drinks were really bad. the place needs serious updating

    For an 8:00 reservation we didn’t sit until 830, and didn’t begin eating appetizers till 920. Server and chef were great, front desk staff very unhelpful and gave no heads up on the long wait, even for a reservation.

    Our cook was decent. Overcooked my steak (nearly burnt) but that’s not a big deal to me. However our waiter got our drink order brought us our drinks then we didn’t see them again til they brought us our check no refills nothing.

    We have been to benihana many times. This was our first in salt lake. I loved that the habachi tables were upstairs! Our server was sweet but didn’t check in often. The price of things paired with our service didn’t match. Our habachi server messed up tables so we didn’t get the full show. Still great food. I understand things happen

    Staff was not great and had some internal conflict. We told them about my friend’s birthday multiple times and they did nothing for it. As we walked out we heard multiple other groups celebrating with dessert and the staff sang to them. Food was okay but not worth the price. My friend also tried to sign up for the loyalty program to get $30 off and their website kept crashing so she never got it.

    As usual, because we come every year for my husband's birthday, the food was wonderful and the dinner show chef was great! The service this time was SLOW. I don't know if someone called in sick, or quit, but we were not the only table having issues. Two of the chefs had to keep going back to the kitchen to get what should have been on their carts. None of our drinks were refilled in a timely manner. At the end of the night the waiter wrote "tips in cash greatly appreciated". I rarely carry cash for that purpose and if the restaurant needs us to do that, then they need make it clear beforehand. That being said, BH, is great for birthdays and we will be back next year.
