Bienvenue au restaurant Benihana, qui vous fera vivre une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous installés ensemble, autour de grandes tables communes. Vous pourrez admirer votre chef personnel mettre en scène l’art ancien du Teppanyaki (méthode de cuisson traditionnelle sur plaque chauffante), le regarder découper, mettre en cubes et préparer un repas qui ravira vos yeux comme vos papilles. Que vous choisissiez un succulent steak, du tendre poulet ou de délicieux fruits de mer, vous vous régalerez. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par le talentueux chef et vous laisser tenter par un des cocktails de spécialité. Benihana est situé tout près du centre-ville de Salt Lake City, directement en face du Salt Palace Convention Center. Il est caché derrière le Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, à distance de marche du temple Mormon de renommée mondiale. The chef totally ignored my party. We had to ask for our rice. Then we were not served the vegetables when everyone else got there’s. My bill was wrong. That was corrected by our server though very quickly. It was so disappointing. We had been looking so forward to going. I realize our family was not as larger as the other but it was as we were invisible.

There were too many bdays happening last night, mine included. We heard happy birthday being sung about every 5-10 minutes through out the restaurant. Just at our table there was another party celebrating their birthday. Our Chef zero focused on them and we felt as if we were wall flowers to their party. Ignored and uncomfortable. The food was so so. The low quality soup and salad could have been done with out and the rest of the food felt like we were on a basic bland diet rubbed in butter.

This place is dirty. Also, the quality of food is not great, especially for the price. Will not return.

Our chef was new and lacked the skills and speed that our previous chefs have had over the years. We watched the table next to ours be entertained by their chef’s showmanship, and receive their food well before we did, despite having been seated 1/2 hour after we were.

It was an okay experience. I mentioned it was a birthday and they didn’t do anything for us. We heard so many other people around us getting sang happy birthday and a birthday ice cream but we didn’t get anything… super disappointed

Ordered the tuna steak. It was supposed to be served medium rare. It was medium well. I have consumed a lot great tuna steak and this was nowhere close. It tasted old and fishy. Everything else served was pretty good. It was difficult to get a refill. The cook was good but near as entertaining in my previous experiences in other Japanese steak houses.
