Bienvenue au restaurant Benihana, qui vous fera vivre une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Ici, les clients sont tous installés ensemble, autour de grandes tables communes. Vous pourrez admirer votre chef personnel mettre en scène l’art ancien du Teppanyaki (méthode de cuisson traditionnelle sur plaque chauffante), le regarder découper, mettre en cubes et préparer un repas qui ravira vos yeux comme vos papilles. Que vous choisissiez un succulent steak, du tendre poulet ou de délicieux fruits de mer, vous vous régalerez. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par le talentueux chef et vous laisser tenter par un des cocktails de spécialité. Benihana est situé tout près du centre-ville de Salt Lake City, directement en face du Salt Palace Convention Center. Il est caché derrière le Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre, à distance de marche du temple Mormon de renommée mondiale. This place is dirty. Also, the quality of food is not great, especially for the price. Will not return.

Our chef was new and lacked the skills and speed that our previous chefs have had over the years. We watched the table next to ours be entertained by their chef’s showmanship, and receive their food well before we did, despite having been seated 1/2 hour after we were.

It was an okay experience. I mentioned it was a birthday and they didn’t do anything for us. We heard so many other people around us getting sang happy birthday and a birthday ice cream but we didn’t get anything… super disappointed

Ordered the tuna steak. It was supposed to be served medium rare. It was medium well. I have consumed a lot great tuna steak and this was nowhere close. It tasted old and fishy. Everything else served was pretty good. It was difficult to get a refill. The cook was good but near as entertaining in my previous experiences in other Japanese steak houses.

We had to wait 50 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Then, our chef was very new and negative. His conversation during the meal consisted of him complaining about his long work hours and him missing the football game that night. He was also very slow, which made him over cook and burn our food. He also forgot the mushrooms for my friends meal (he ordered the chicken and mushrooms). He wasn’t funny or entertaining. We mostly watched the chef at the next table. I was super disappointed. It’s my birthday celebration and it was by far the worst Japanese steakhouse experience we’ve ever had. He said he would let the manager know about the forgotten food and get a discount— but he didn’t.

The waiter that sat us and took are order was very polite and our chef that came to the table did an amazing job with his entertainment of cooking the food my son‘s first time there, and they did not disappoint and engaging, showing us a good time preparing our food
