why is Beihana still open during construction!!! We went to Benihana’s to celebrate my daughters 25 birthday and we were sat in the way back up next to a open vent that was sucking in what ever was in front of it !! There were these big clear plastic bag tubes that were running through the entire restaurant . It felt like we were dining in someone’s garage that was being fixed up .. our tab was $600 plus !!! Benihana puente Hills was a dump I cant believe how bad it was and why a manager would think it was okay to sit a party of 9 in the section that was clearly under construction!!! did i mention our tab was over $600 !!! very disappointed 👎🏻

Horrible service took 45 minutes just to get a re drinks to our daughter to celebrate her birthday! They didn’t even sing have birthday! Took check close to an hour to start cooking!!!! Not satisfied at all. There were also short staff and chefs! They’re remodeling not so clean!!

Parking was a nightmare, with customers for a large local business taking up all of the dedicated Benihana spots. The restaurant should notify reservation holders to budget 10-15 minutes for parking. We were seated 45 minutes after our reservation time. Due to being short staffed, the hibachi chef arrived another 45 minutes later, meaning we did not eat our meal until 90 minutes after our reservation time. They did take 20% off the bill, which was appreciated. They did not bring any appetizers or food for my preschool-aged child. I overheard another customer tell the hostess that the women's bathroom was out of paper towels. An hour later, still no paper towels. The staff here are not invested in their jobs or attentive to basic customer service. The actual hibachi chef did a great job and the food was good, but it was not worth the 90 minute wait (with a reservation!) with a small child. We will not be returning.
