Bienvenue chez Benihana, un restaurant qui vous propose une expérience culinaire hors du commun ! Installez-vous autour d'une de leurs tables communes et vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du Teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Ils vous en mettront vraiment plein la vue ! Il ne vous restera qu'à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous régaler de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous délecter d'un cocktail de spécialité. Benihana Ontario est situé près de l'intersection des autoroutes I-10 et 215, à cinq minutes du Ontario International Airport et du Ontario Convention Center, ainsi que du Citizen’s Bank entertainment arena. Il dispose de 22 tables de type teppanyaki et d'un bar à sushis confortable offrant des spéciaux pour Happy Hour. Le restaurant a été conçu pour imiter le style Azekura qui rappelle un entrepôt de campagne japonaise, devenant l'un des deux seuls restaurants de style Azekura de la chaîne Benihana. Des frais de service de 18% sont ajoutés à toute facture pour les groupes de huit personnes ou plus.

Why offer reservations if they will seat us 30 mins late. Atleast call your guest to notify so we can make arrangements

Veggies were burnt (zucchini etc) chef gave my kids side of corn that comes with her kids meal to a different person at the table on accident. He went back to kitchen got a smaller portion than usual (we go frequently and order that for my daughter frequently) threw the corn in the grill for maybe 10seconds. Scooped it into my daughter’s plate. My daughter took a bite said it was cold, so I took a bite and yes it was cold. How would it not be cold right? It was cooked for minimal time. Server rarely came and attended to us. Overall seemed like a bad day for the chef and server. Everyone has bad days. But you asked for feedback and here it is. Although not sure what will come of it.

What’s the point of a reservation if you still have to wait 45 minutes to be seated? I understand how busy it is, but this is the 3rd time a reservation hasn’t really helped us. This appears to be an Ontario benihanas problem as the Other locations are much more efficient with their reservations.

Got a new chef (or at least a newer one of a few months) that worked hard at giving us a good meal. The catch was a few things. 1. I/We were not asked if we had food allergies (shellfish for me. but it is not life threatening) 2. Food was good, but came out in steps, so we were eating the meal in parts at a time, instead of all at once (like rice, then veggies, then meat). So if we wanted to eat some rice with our meal, it was not hot as it would have been if served with the meat and veggies. I do not really fault the chef too much. But, upon viewing the other tables, we were wondering why ours was not like theirs.

This was the worst experience we have ever had a restaurant. We got to our reservation early, just to be told we may not be sat down until 30 minutes after our reservation. After waiting about 30 minutes, we went to check when we would be sat, to be told we may have to wait another 45 minutes. When we told them we had made a reservation, we got told they can't say what happens at other restaurants, but that is what happens here. When we finally got sat, no server came to our table for over 20 minutes. We ordered our food and then sat and watched as multiple tables who got sat after us get their chefs and ate their meals. When our chef arrived, all he did was cook. He didn't talk to us or do anything we expected as part of the experience. We also had our food orders messed up. From the moment we checked in, to when the food was finished being served, about 3 hours had passed. We asked to speak to the manager and our server did come back offering a discount and free ice cream (which was already included in our meal price). We asked to speak with the manager again, who then eventually told us we wouldn't have to pay but they were also taking our food away. They took our food away, so we spent 3 hours there for absolutely nothing.

Food to saltier. Meet over cooked. Waiting time it was one hour and 30 minutes after my reservation we had to wait that long time .

They were understaffed and the wait exceeded an hour after reservation time. The manager did offer complimentary items for the delay. Food was excellent. The night was enjoyable. Table time 2.5 hours.
