They watered down the Shrimp/yummy sauce again!! My salad had 1 tomato- others at the table had 2 or 3! Chef was definitely new- egg dropped on floor when he tried to catch it. Rice was undercooked. Onion/zucchini overcooked. Portions are smaller and smaller every time! Very little garlic butter used for all dishes. ** Very expensive with ridiculous 20% surcharge.

We had great service from the hostess to the waiter to the chef. The chef did an amazing job and was very entertaining! Will be back.

Ricardo the chef was spectacular. Server was great cute girl with blue hair attentive and present. Food was superb. Everything g cooked to perfection.

TERRIBLE FOOD, POOR EXPERIWNCE and a waste of money!! I used to live the Bennihana in St Louis Park and have been there many times! While there for a birthday dinner recently our party spent $400 for 4 people and received the worst service. The cook cane to our table long enough to cook about 10-15 minutes. He literally cooked and left, doing none of the regular show you get. The food was bland and nothing like I've had in the past. When I called to talk to someone about our experience, I was put on hold several times and had to call back. When I talked to the manager, she said she will let the cook know and that's all she can do. Then hung up on me.

The food quality has gone down at Benihana. The cuts of meat are not as good as they used to be including the chicken. They've added additional fees and service fees that if you're going for a birthday you're $30 coupon basically doesn't benefit you very much. By the time they get done adding a service fee of 20% and additional fees for food prep or something... it's a wash. Just not worth it anymore. I think this will be the last time we are going to Benihana for a sit-down dinner of any sort.

Last night was a great night! The manager (male) on duty was very pleasant unlike the female manager we seem to run into more often. But dinner was great the server was very nice and attentive. The chef was on point with the request on how we like it cooked. Overall great evening. It’s really hit or miss the last review I made I personally didn’t want to come back, but my husband loves the food when it’s done right.
