Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Ici, les clients sont tous installés ensemble, autour de grandes tables communes. Vous pourrez admirer votre chef personnel mettre en scène l’art ancien du Teppanyaki (méthode de cuisson traditionnelle sur plaque chauffante), le regarder découper, mettre en cubes et préparer un repas qui ravira vos yeux comme vos papilles. Que vous choisissiez un succulent steak, du tendre poulet ou de délicieux fruits de mer, vous vous régalerez. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par le talentueux chef et vous laissez tenter par un des cocktails maison. Le Benihana Maple Grove est situé près des fontaines au centre commercial Arbor Lakes. Bien que les réservations ne sont pas obligatoires, elles sont recommandées. Prenez une pause de votre journée dans les magasins de Arbor Lakes et préparez-vous à une expérience culinaire hors du commun à l'une de leurs 18 tables teppanyaki. The chef we had was very new and didn’t put on the show we are used to getting. My dish was also not cooked as well as usual. The onions weren’t cooked enough and the shrimp wasn’t flavorful.

It’s been a couple years since our last visit to Benihana and we don’t plan to be back. It's way over priced for the quality of food. Our server was friendly but did not explain up charges for fried rice. Rice is standard with the meal however when she asked us our choice for options she listed “white rice or fried rice” and didn’t add that there is a $7 up charge for fried rice per person. I ordered a run & coke. She didn’t ask what type of run and when the bill came I was charged for a premium run rather than the bar rail rum. Our server forgot to bring out white rice for those of us who chose it over the fried rice. When we finally flagged her down we were already 3/4 done with our meal. The teppanyaki chef was great! Very personable, friendly, funny, and entertaining. He knew all the tricks and skills. When the bill came and we were automatically charged gratuity “Service Charge” I would have gladly given it all to the Chef as our server needs more training.

They charge a 20% gratuity that does not go to the wait staff. Food was good but at ~$50 per plate + 20% gratuity that goes to the company and not the staff + 20% tip you’re looking at $70 per person, minimum, and for that you are better going to more fancy restaurants or other hibachi chains that don’t have silly up charges.

The added 20% to the check is a FEE the restaurant charges. Does not go to the chef or the wait staff. This is outrageous. Will not be visiting again.

Hard to understand what waiters, waitresses & cook were saying due to the over all noise of the restaurant, and the speed of the speakers delivery. Overall it felt like the goal was to get you in and out as fast as possible. Food was mediocre and not worth the expense. Drinks tasted as they were poured from a premix and not very good. Theres better restaurants that are less expensive- wouldn't recommend.
