Bienvenue chez Benihana, où vous vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Ici, les clients sont tous installés ensemble, autour de grandes tables communes. Vous pourrez admirer votre chef personnel mettre en scène l’art ancien du Teppanyaki (méthode de cuisson traditionnelle sur plaque chauffante), le regarder découper, mettre en cubes et préparer un repas qui ravira vos yeux comme vos papilles. Que vous choisissiez un succulent steak, du tendre poulet ou de délicieux fruits de mer, vous vous régalerez. Vous pouvez également déguster des sushis préparés par le talentueux chef et vous laissez tenter par un des cocktails maison. Le Benihana Maple Grove est situé près des fontaines au centre commercial Arbor Lakes. Bien que les réservations ne sont pas obligatoires, elles sont recommandées. Our waitress was nice just had too much to do so we were often left without drink refills. The chef was great and entertaining. We were celebrating birthdays but they did not sing as they typically do. At the end I felt horrible because I could not add the tip to my credit card payment as you typically can. I had minimal cash. So here my overworked waitress and chef got less than a typical tip.

Food was amazing as always and our chef was very entertaining…the wait however was very long. We had a reservation for 7:45 and didn’t get seated until 8:30.

Had to wait 45 minutes extra for my reservation!! Bathrooms smelled like natural gas leak . Chef was outstanding food was excellent!!! Since they were late on my reservation cost me and extra 45 bucks in the lounge !!

Wait time was advised 20 mins, ended up being 50 mins. After being seated our server was AMAZING. Our chef seemed as if he were new and we were rushed. There were 4 of us that needed soy sauce for our rice which I have never experienced. He has a person, great. The food and show was kind of a let down. Considering there was a smaller child at our table I don't think we got the same/roughly the same entertainment as others got. If you're going to be open on NYE don't make it feel like we're wasting our money by choosing to dine in.

We had dinner reservations at 6:45 and had to wait an additional half hour. Was packed and probably overbooked. Once seated our service was pretty good. Our Teppan Chef was not very entertaining at all, we were excited for this because we had someone with that has never been to a hibachi before. Very disappointed. The steak was the worst steak I have ever had, super tough. All for the low price of $358.00, which included 4 people and we each had a cocktail. Way better restaurants for that kind of money. Very unfortunate.

When on New Years Eve. Food was great. Show was great. Service was not so great. We ordered a side of corn and it was forgot and when brought to server attention they brought it out from being cooked in the back and not cooked table side on the Hibachi. Going to Hibachi is to have the experience of the food cooked table side in front of you. We were out of drinks for over half the meal. The server disappeared for over 30 minutes. Got refills and the meal was over.

This type of dining is about the show experience. The experience we received at our table was watching a line cook make our meal with zero “show”. Benihana experiences have typically been fun and engaging with funny tricks, skills, unique surprises while preparing the meal. Our table had none of that. Even when asked. We watched a line cook tap his spatula a couple times for noise factor followed by ZERO engagement to our table. We ended up watching the table/chef behind us for the “show” of fireballs, volcano onions, flipping shrimp in the air…etc. The adult meals were over prepared ($50 steak well done chopped into bite sized pieces - ick) and the kids meals were not served until we reminded the server about them after the grill had been cleaned. We received ROCK HARD chicken strips, which looked like a raw-hide dog chews, rushed out of the kitchen. We quite literally ordered takeout from the neighboring Chick-Filet and brought it back into the restaurant for the kids meals. We told the restaurant manager about the so-so experience when he checked on our table, who said, as he shifted his attention, “well, we know where we can improve” and he passed over to another area of the restaurant without care. We were celebrating a birthday. The host acknowledged the birthday as we were seated but even after reminding the server and chef about the special day, it was not acknowledged… we could hear several other tables celebrating birthdays with their chef, wait staff. A bummer of an experience for our whole group. It will not be a restaurant we would choose to attend soon.

My family has been going to BH for Christmas Day for the last 10 years. We used to have great times there. A new rule was put in place at this location where folks can only dine for 1 hour on Christmas. That’s ridiculous in the first place because how are folks supposed to do a proper meal in one hour? Part of our party had a medical emergency - an elderly member of the family had a fall. The team at BH could care less. Instead they kept coming to the table, which was in the bar, to remind everyone about the time limit. Merry Christmas I guess.
