Our reservation was at 7:45pm- we ended up having the chef coming to our table exactly at 9:27pm. We ended up eating almost at 10pm. Wait time was horrible. I ordered a strawberry lemonade to drink, the server brought it up and I noticed my cup was dirty, brown particles were in the cup that you have to use your nail to scratch it up. Benihana, your food is delicious but your service has to get better.

Pretty typical Benihana experience. Always crowded but they did o good job at seating my party of 6 close to my reservation. Our waitress was slow but it was very busy so perhaps that’s the reason. Chef was entertaining and food was good

First visit to any Benihana in about 15 years, still exactly as I remember with high quality food and entertainment for extraordinary value.

Took our mom out for a birthday dinner, turned out so did the other 3 tables there as well. We had Enrique be our chef that night. Our waiter was Xavier and those guys worked well together. After seeing the other tables. Enrique was the only Chef cracking jokes. The other Chefs were more technical with there tricks, which I am sure is more there thing in terms of being a show, but if you wanted to laugh a bit after a long hot day and mind you we ate at 5pm, so it was more hot that made it long, maybe would like to relax and laugh than be mindlessly entertained, maybe me, but Benihana really needs to sell the personalities more than food cooked on a hibachi grill. Xavier kept the drinks poured, wish he didn't have to leave the room to get refills but that's not on him, just on the poorly designed restaurant staff wise. Make sure to request Enrique, the Japanese Mexican. He's fun!

Service was horrible. The chef behaved like an unhinged clown, with this ridiculous hysterical laughter and banging the spatula Luke a hammer, so much that other tables complained. I left with a headache. I've been a loyal customer since the 1970s and have never had a experience like this. No iced tea, mushrooms were tiny pieces, and Lobster was brown because he allowed things to sit on the grill in black, crusty oil.

I've been going to Benihana since I was a teenager so over 3 decades and this was the worst experience I've ever had at one. Location is amazing. It's right on the canal. I made a reservation for my family and my daughter that was having her birthday dinner. Hostesses weren't friendly or greeting. Our waiter took our order and came back once. The chef didn't do any tricks and barely spoke. The only saving grace was the food. It was cooked well and tasted good. Nothing was done for my daughter's birthday. I'd avoid this location at all costs.

The Benihana experience has gone down hill the service, the quality of food, over priced and portions are less. And the chaos and unnecessary noise didn’t make this experience enjoyable. They are hiring anyone and the service received does not match up to the price.

Just a meh experience. Our server, Xavier, was great. There were issues with our order and the chef needed to have additional food brought out multiple times. Ordered the house sake, which they were out of, but upsold another bottle for $6 more. Food was cooked well and tasty. Had some raw egg fly into my sake glass. The restaurant is starting to show its age, with electrical cables running throughout. Glad we went, but with other great restaurants around we probably won’t be back.

The most awful expierence I’ve ever had. Service was absolutely terrible. We didn’t see our server Samantha for the first 15min we were seated. Then we waited another 15 min for drinks that came after our appetizers. We were sat an hour before a chef came out to cook finally. The server never cleared our app plates. We tried to order another round of drinks and waited 20more minutes before we could find the server to do so. She had a terrible attitude and literally rolled her eyes as though we were disturbing her. Finally asked to see a manager Alfred who was just as rude as the server. He was unwilling to do anything to rectify the situation. He literally just kept walking away and didn’t care to hear anything we had to say. The server was great, the food was great, the cook was too quiet and boring needs more motivation, other it was great! Celebrated my nephew’s birthday it was his first time there.
