    Food was good but on the pricey side. I have gone with my family to similar Japanese steak houses and this one was almost twice the cost

    Food was good, not great the cook put a little too much garlic butter on items. It's time for this location to be updated on outside and inside. This will be my last visit.

    Three visits now and Benihana is back (at least for the Farmington Hills location). Oscar (the chef) and Gaby (our server) did an outstanding job. Food was expertly prepared by Oscar while Gaby serviced our table flawlessly. They delivered the Benihana experience the way it’s supposed to be.

    The hibachi show was non-existent. The food was decent, my steak and lobster were both overcooked.

    Service and food were excellent..especially our chef. I don’t like the add-ons they get you with, better just to include them. Bill ended up being much higher

    I selected the Rockies feast which should come with steamed rice and ice cream. I didn't get my steamed rice until after everybody was almost done eating. They never came around for drink refills so I had to hunt them down every time. They also tried to get away with not giving us dessert and when I asked about it they said that it was melting on the counter and asked if I still wanted it. Since I paid more I asked to still take it and it was literally a teaspoon of ice cream and a cherry LOL. I'm never going to come back to this place again. The people at my table all said the same thing as well. We hated our experience and we did not think the value was there at all. I'd rather go to sagano's

    This was thee worst experience. The server was not very good. Barely seen her to refill drinks or anything. She also mixed up an order and forgot part of our order. You The chef was really nice and the food tasted ok. I came because I had a birthday coupon to use. I didn’t know you had to print it to use it. when we spoke to the manager, the manager suggested that I walk across the street to a CVS so that I can print it out setting offering to print it to me since it was a first time thing for us there. I felt that was really rude and unnecessary. He kept blaming me saying it was my fault that I should’ve known it needed to be printed. However, this is my first time ever using a birthday coupon with the company as I never did it before and you would not know that you have to print it unless you go ahead and redeem the coupon. I never hit redeem because most of the time when you go to a place they tell you to redeem it at the location not at home because sometimes it’ll expire or other things. I will never go back to this location and probably never go back to this restaurant establishment again because of the experience I had today. We also advise them in our reservation and when we got there that we were celebrating two special occasions and they did not acknowledge that for us as they said they would. Never again.
