Bienvenue au Benihana, vous y vivrez une expérience culinaire pas comme les autres! Assis à une table commune, vous découvrirez tous les secrets du chef alors qu'il vous livrera ses astuces sur l'art ancien du teppanyaki (cuisson des aliments sur plaque chauffante). Vous en aurez plein la vue! Il vous restera à faire votre choix parmi la diversité des savoureux mets proposés (bœuf, poulet, fruits de mer, etc.) et vous laisser éblouir par cette tradition japonaise. Vous pourrez également vous délecter de sushis préparés par un chef talentueux et vous faire plaisir avec un cocktail de spécialité. Situé au cœur de la vallée de San Fernando, le Benihana Encino a été le lieu de nombreuses productions télévisuelles et cinématographiques, notamment The Office, 40 ans et encore puceau et bien d'autres. The waitress seemed like she was having a bad day, which everyone has bad days but it’s still part of the customer experience. The chef was good, he cooked well but I think some of his jokes fell flat, he seemed to get a long well with one gentleman who was part of our table but our party. It was loud in there so I couldn’t hear half of what was said between them. I think the weirdest thing about the night was both the waitress and the chef kept asking me about other people’s orders. How did my mom want her steak, did my husband want ice cream for his birthday? I don’t know, ask them. I’m still wondering why this happened. I brought my children so I’m used to ordering for them, but another adult? It was very odd.

They overbook their reservations making people wait for 30-45 mins with reservations.

The service, Teppan Chef and food were all really great. The people seated at our shared table were not so great. One diner had her feet up on the chair she was seated on while she ate and reached for her food between her bent knees, which is highly unhygienic and inappropriate!! No one said anything to her!! It was actually quite disappointing and gross to see and be seated near. Another diner left early, probably because of the other lady with her feet/knees up. No one cleaned up the spot on the table and I had to eat near a dirty mess. 🤢 Surely the staff could have done or said something and bussed that part of the table. Not really sure I want to go back there.

Food was so delicious was worth every penny! Great place to celebrate birthdays never disappoints, Encino location chef top notch. Our tummies were happy 😊 2 photo souvenir to remember the occasion a plus++ Great staff they were attentive and courteous. Definitely would come back!

Extremely poor service while celebrating a child’s birthday. Manager Dean was flippant and rude regarding the 50 minute wait we endured, after our reservation time. And the staff smashed the expensive 13th birthday cake we brought in, from a bakery. There were no apologies or efforts to make things right on their unprofessional end. We will not return.
